❄️ Winter Walkies - Keep Your Dog Safe and Happy! 🐾

Icy conditions can make winter walks a little tricky, but with these simple tips, you can ensure your dog stays safe and comfy on your adventures:

✨ Wash Away Salt: Road grit and salt can irritate your dog’s paws and even make them unwell if licked. Rinse their paws with warm water after every walk to keep them clean and healthy.

✨ Check for Ice Clumps: Ice can get trapped in the fur between their paw pads, causing discomfort. Keep an eye on their paws and remove any clumps during your walk.

✨ Paw Protection is Key: A paw balm or protective booties can work wonders to shield their feet from the cold and harsh surfaces.

✨ Short and Sweet Walks: If it’s particularly frosty, stick to shorter walks and mix in some indoor play to keep them active and enriched.

✨ Wrap Up Warm: A snug coat can help keep the chill off, especially for short-haired or older dogs.

✨ Hydration Still Matters: Don’t forget to keep your dog hydrated, ensure they have access to water after any exercise.

Let us know in the comments how you and your dog enjoy winter walkies - bonus points for sharing frosty snaps! 🐕❄️
