👉I'm calling out to all my customers, colleagues and contacts👈

SKDC are looking at reducing the number of dogs being walked at any one time. Currently it is 6 in public spaces.

Could you please take 5 minutes to complete the survey they are doing? It really is important!

The problem with restricting how many we can walk to less than 6 is that to continue in what we do we'd have to significantly increase our prices. We only have a certain period of time in the day that we can walk dogs (as otherwise it's too late as the dog may have been at home on it's own whilst the owner is at work).

I've worked so hard to build my business: qualifications, knowledge etc, to ensure my dogs are safe, well and happy. I don't want to have to give it up, I absolutely love what I do. I know what my limits are with the dogs and I abide by that and don't put them at risk. If the council take that decision away from me then it will massively impact me.

I absolutely support introducing licensing the dog walking industry or something similar but to restrict numbers will have a big impact on whether small businesses can survive and continue to walk your dogs.

Pablo, Lily & Effie, I've walked you for years now and today was your last walk with me as you move to another home with your humans 😭😭😭😭 I will miss you so much as I'm sure so many of the other dogs will too ❤️ you've made the walks so much fun and they will definitely be quieter without you. So long my amigos, hopefully I'll come and visit soon ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have quite a few of these! Especially Alfie (the Spaniel), Ralph (the Labradoodle), Kira & Karla (the GSDs), Alfie (the Standard Poodle), Pablo (the Mini Dax), Milo (the Choccy Lab), Hudson (the German Short-haired Pointer) and Ernie (the Lab) - you're all little monkeys 🐒 but I love you all ❤️❤️
