He went for the chase on the birds...
Recall smashed it....
He just keeps ticking the boxes well done my boy, you deserve to be out enjoying the environment and more π₯°ππΎ
AFTER!
Winston has learnt how much fun water can actually be, through a positive/balanced training technique.
BEFORE!
Winston also hated the water, when I say hated the water, he was used to his home environment so he was used to the hose pipe, baths ect.....
However Winston had Never been in a lake, river and was really unsure of the water.
So again it was conditioned in his first video the first day of introducing water in a paddling pool ( baby steps, build a solid foundation)
Second video Conditioning completed and proofed, Winston is in Completely new environment, absolutely loving how much fun water can be outside the home π«£π₯³
AFTER!
Right on command, straight in the car no problem happy boy!
Imagine how enjoyable life would be to walk your dog LL down the street, allowing them to soak up the environment, BuT stay in a comfortable position.
I see people spending Β£100s on harnesses, tools and still getting pulled down the street.
Let me help you out guys, a harness isn't going to help your dogs understand how to walk, a little bit of training is.
In fact are you ready for the best bit....
π²It only takes 2 minutes to show your dog how to do this.
The rest is consistency and understanding the 3Ds π²
Crazy isn't it, all that stress of your dog taking you for a walk and this takes 2 minutes πΎππ²
I felt the song was appropriate, haha π
Gorgeous young Stanlee, and my beautiful old Oscar π₯°π
The two males you NEED in your life π₯π₯
Bit of fun on the field with this one, having some engagement games before we start our recall sessions.
I'm allowing Tanner to think for himself, make choices where he will win, get lots of positives, when they're winning their learning.ποΈ
Set your dog up to succeed π―π
Tanner absolutely smashed it, and as straight forward as a recall session is I really enjoy it,
Look at this beauty,
Tanner with soooo much energy to work.
It's all about working with that energy and putting it into something positive, mentally and physically.
Allowing him to make better choices and setting him up to succeed, if he's winning he's learning π
Excited for our next session π₯π―π€
The beauty of dealing with Reactivity,
It doesn't happen overnight, But when it does come.
It's a pretty good feeling, to see your dog relaxed and zero stress around others.
That's what dogs are for, getting enjoyment out of each other.
Remember why you got the dog in the first place.
And keep working on those goals.
They're more than achievable π€ππ―
Ok so I wasn't going to say this...but if you know me then you know ...
I see people saying I wouldn't put my baby in a cage why would I do that to my dog......well Karen....you Also would put a lead around your baby but I bet you do your dog...do you get my point...you don't have one.
However I do, the best thing you can do for your dog after training is pop them in their safe place (crate) zero distractions, because dogs DO NOT THINK LIKE HUMANS however if we leave them with zero distractions after training then I promise you your next session will be more successful.
Stanley approves π₯°ππ
Absolutely smashed it today ! Proud of you boy β€οΈ
If you can't have fun with the dogs, then you damn sure can't train them π―π€π₯
