LoveDogs Hi, I'm a fully qualified Dog Groomer near Newark & Ollerton. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs, especial rescue & nervous dogs.

I have always wanted to work with animals, but music was my speciality and so I became a private woodwind teacher. I have kept animals, especially horses, all my life..and I can't imagine a life without them. So in a way..its a dream realised for me to work with dogs. My ethos for dog grooming is to be kind and patient. Grooming and bathing can be stressful for dogs - they're in a new environment

..away from their owners and everything they know. If it takes 5 visits for a dog to become comfortable enough to have their nails clipped or bottom clipped..then so be it. The dog's well-being always comes first.

With summer finally arriving- (Yay).. it also brings some very high temperatures. Even though the salon is lovely and cool, it soon gets hot when the bath and dryers are used. I am currently rearranging appointments on Tuesday and will monitor the forecast as we go. I would much rather rearrange grooms than risk potential overheating and heatstroke in our beloved dogs, especially those at risk (ie older dogs, overweight ((no judgement!)) or with health issues).

Glow up for this gorgeous new girl ‘Mabel’.
She’s only a baby, it was only her second ever groom.. and it was a massive job. !! but I think we’re all happy with the result 🥰. Her coat was too long for her lovely owners to maintain… hopefully now she’ll be a bit more manageable and she’ll feel better all round. See you in 6 weeks ❤️

I’d like to say an ENORMOUS, heart-felt thank you 🙏 to all of my amazing clients for 2025! What a year we’ve had. From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your loyalty, your trust, your punctuality, your gifts/cards/tips and most of all… your gorgeous doggies- I love each and every unique waggy tail and wet nose.
