LoveDogs Hi, I'm a fully qualified Dog Groomer near Newark & Ollerton. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs, especial rescue & nervous dogs.

I have always wanted to work with animals, but music was my speciality and so I became a private woodwind teacher. I have kept animals, especially horses, all my life..and I can't imagine a life without them. So in a way..its a dream realised for me to work with dogs. My ethos for dog grooming is to be kind and patient. Grooming and bathing can be stressful for dogs - they're in a new environment

..away from their owners and everything they know. If it takes 5 visits for a dog to become comfortable enough to have their nails clipped or bottom clipped..then so be it. The dog's well-being always comes first.

From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate your loyalty, your trust, your punctuality, your gifts/cards/tips and most of all… your gorgeous doggies- I love each and every unique waggy tail and wet nose.

This is part of the job that I just can’t cope with.
I groomed gorgeous Milo on Friday- he seemed his happy self (although he suffered from a heart condition as many Cavalier KC and Cavi crosses do). This morning I was told that he was put to sleep yesterday. I was so worried that the groom had put extra strain on his heart, but his wonderful owner assured me that he was acting like a puppy after his groom (as he always did). Hopefully the groom made him feel better for his final days.
It doesn’t get any easier- this one hit me hard ❤️🥰
