LoveDogs Hi, I'm a fully qualified Dog Groomer near Newark & Ollerton. I have a lot of experience with all types of dogs, especial rescue & nervous dogs.

I have always wanted to work with animals, but music was my speciality and so I became a private woodwind teacher. I have kept animals, especially horses, all my life..and I can't imagine a life without them. So in a way..its a dream realised for me to work with dogs. My ethos for dog grooming is to be kind and patient. Grooming and bathing can be stressful for dogs - they're in a new environment

..away from their owners and everything they know. If it takes 5 visits for a dog to become comfortable enough to have their nails clipped or bottom clipped..then so be it. The dog's well-being always comes first.

Hello! For all of you who enjoy using the Airfield by us to walk your dogs, I have set up a page to encourage people to talk about how and why its important to them. We may very well lose it to a solar farm as soon as next year, and so it's vital to show the developers what an invaluable asset it is to everyone.

We had to say a very sad farewell to Kasper over the Christmas. He was a happy, sweet boy and his owners are just fantastic. I’d groomed him for 10 years and he’ll be very greatly missed 💕

So this year, all tips are going towards a charity that gives presents to lesser-fortunate children. On Saturday my kids picked 2 tags from the tree (the curtain mill in Newark) we’ll buy the items, gift wrap them and drop them off back to the shop. Thank you to everyone who has donated so far xx

Another stunner! Baby Margot, a 7 month old show cocker came in for her introduction groom. She was nervous to start with, but soon gained confidence and trust. I’m really looking forward to building a great relationship with her- she’s going to be a beaut.

This is Holly, thoroughly enjoying a blueberry facial massage. It’s only an extra £4 and totally relaxes the dog. It smells pretty yummy too. Let me know if you’re interested in this (or any of our ad-ons, including pawdicure, colour, and even carving (stencils in the fur))
