Dunham bridge is still open. River holding steady at the moment. Next update around 3pm at high tide on the gov website. Screen shots in comments.
If you are traveling in from the Lincolnshire side of the trent, there is a good possibility the toll bridge will flood again later on today.
Please reschedule or cancel slots if you cannot arrange an alternative route and I will do my best to keep you updated on the road status. Xx

We know that increasing our prices is just another costly addition to everything else that's gone up when your wages haven't... we understand and although tightening our own budgets we are doing our very best to keep your weekly dog treat affordable ❤️
🐾 1st visit inductions: £5 per 30 mins.
🐾 1 hour slot: £8 (dog trainer with a 1 to 1 client may also use this option)
🐾 30 min slot: £5
🐾 30 min Single dog discount: £4 (1 dog only)
🐾 Sameday booking discount: £3 per 30 mins (available on qualifying Tuesdays/wednesdays an Thursdays every week restarting from the 1st Tuesday of February 2025)
🐾 Dunham & Ragnall resident discount: £3 per
30 mins. (Proof of residency required)
🐾 Block bookings: book 6 slots and pay for 5 (if booked and paid for together)
🐾 Fixed daily/weekly/fortnightly or monthly slots. Permanent Fixed day and time for the whole year, each slot payable on receipt of the reminder or on arrival or by block payments. Simply let us know when you're not coming rather than going through the hassle of searching for availability.

⚠️ We have a 5 minute gap between all bookings to help prevent late leaving impacting your start time. Though generally late leaving is rare.
⚠️ We check the paddock at least 3 times a day so the chances of finding extra poos is less common here, But it’s still no guarantee of a clean visit unfortunately.
⚠️ Secured Double gated parking available by simply shutting the driveway gate after parking. Peace of mind while unloading and loading back up that your dog is still in an enclosed area.
⚠️ I work from home so should you need me to help with a mischievous dog unwilling to go home let me know…. I have tricks and treats 😅
❤️ We mainly cater for those who want a quiet walk with 1 to 3 dogs (max 8 dogs) avoiding the general public issues that come with walking at parks, travel stop off for a leg stretch on a long journey or small groups but we also have puppy play groups, dog walkers and dog behaviourists/trainers use our activity and enrichment paddock for building dogs in their cares confidence and durability by getting them to interact and explore their capabilities.

I want to let all my registered users know how wonderful you are 🥰 taking care of the paddock during the Xmas period while I took a much needed rest and regroup.
Behind the scenes there’s a lot going on, running a dog field is not for the faint hearted and the strain begins to show at times, especially in the winter.
I have my new years list of repairs, planting, updating and new enrichment ideas and although it looks a little daunting and time consuming….

I know Multi dog owners find holidays with your dogs difficult, we are always looking for proper dog friendly accommodation for holidays and Iv just seen a beauty to add to your list! 🤩
Did you know that the average garden size in the UK is 0.06 of an acre but Rill has 0.25 of an acre of outside space, 300% bigger than the average UK garden.
Plus we have a private stretch of stream that enters and exits under a wall. The boundaries are a minimum of 4ft.
We understand that your dogs are part of your family so of course there is no limit on the number of dogs or any silly breed restrictions and, your dogs are welcome on sofas and beds.
We have an American style fridge freezer so lots of room for raw feeders and a dog buggy that can take dogs up to 80kgs. We can provide details of a dog sitter.
We can accommodate up to 8 human guests in 4 bedrooms, 3 kingsize and a twin. There are also 4 reception rooms, including a kitchen diner, lounge with woodburner, and a separate dining room.

Top Tip if you’re alone and don’t have someone to distract them: throw some on the grass or floor of the shelter to keep them occupied while you fill the blocks up with treats/food.

We only have a couple of afternoon slots left for today if your looking for somewhere nice to take the dog/s for some off lead exercise away from all the other people and dogs likely to be out in all your usual parks and wild spaces.

The scent boxes have been refreshed, and the pool will go out a bit later when it warms up a bit more and don’t forget your dog treats for some calming scatter feeding and using the treat wall in the shelter 😋
Our paddock is set in the beautifully peaceful village of Dunham on Trent on the A57.
The paddock is about half an acre with 4ft5 high fencing on three sides, 6ft on one side. Netting all around with about 2ft dug into the ground and turned in to prevent digging under the fencing. The gate is dog proofed underneath with a rigid rubber attachment. There is a small tree in the field for some shade plus a few taller trees at the bottom which create more shade later on in the day. We have recently planted more trees which will take a few years to become useful as shade. In hot weather a paddling pool of water is available for your dogs to play in if they wish to keep cool. The field is mostly set to grass with a few things for the dogs enjoyment/enrichment. Tunnels, logs and some toys, are already at the field for your dog to enjoy, dog friendly herbs and grasses are available for your dogs self select and enjoyment with more being added gradually. Water and bowls are provided as well as Compostable poo bags that can be put into our bin for composting.
You can book this field all to yourself and your dog or a group can book it to train together or for catching up in an environment safe to take your eyes off the dogs for a moment, they can’t go anywhere.
Facilities: Off road secure parking. Toilet. Field shelter and seating. Water and paddling pool. Herb Garden. Selection of dog toys. Tunnels, tires and logs. Notice board of local dog related services (please ask about putting up a poster) Special requests for inside field parking.
This field is great for the following: Allowing a dog with poor recall some off lead enjoyment. Training in peace. Safely exercising dogs with reactivity issues. Exercising older dogs or dogs rehabilitating after surgery, safely exercising a bitch in season. Exercising, off lead, a group of dogs you struggle to exercise on a daily basis because of differing characters, abilities, and training levels. Small group/breed meets and group training. (You are welcome to bring and use your own equipment) As a Stop off point, during a long car journey, to stretch their legs.
Come and see us sometime, If our field is not suitable for your dog and you leave early, there is no charge.
