Hi everyone,

Just a thought… as I lay in my lounge at 4.30am, opening and closing the back door because our cat flap is frozen solid.

If you have cats that have a flap and you’re going to work, going out for the day or away over night, please leave a litter tray down for your cats. They are likely to remember what it’s for. Some of my boys are reluctant but it’s there for them.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update to say we have now resumed full services including house/pet sits.🙂

We are continuing to work as safely as we can with regards to Covid and we are fully vaccinated.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick one to say we are open for business as usual, except that at the moment in line with government guidelines we are not taking bookings for housesitting/staying over in a clients house. This is for obvious safety reasons.

Dog walking, cat/pet feeding services are operating as normal but with extra safety measures in place.

Feel free to ask us about how we are working safely and any special/extra precautions you might like us to take.

Hi everyone,

Hope you’re all keeping safe.

After listening to the latest from the Prime Minister and looking into what exactly that means for business, until any further government updates state otherwise and as we are no longer being asked to stay at home, I’m pleased to say that Pet Angels UK are available for bookings from next Monday 18th May.

Any services offered will be carried out by carers with no symptoms who will be observing social distancing rules where interaction with clients or their families is possible and we will be working as safely as we can using gloves and sanitisers as necessary and by using our own hand wash and towels.

If you have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us.

We know the transition back to normal business will take time for us all, but we are here for you if needed as some of you return to work.

We look forward to being of service.

Good evening everyone,

After listening to the latest message from our Prime Minister, for the time being, we can no longer come into your homes to pick up or visit animals.

It’s vital that we all follow the guidelines to help see us all through this crisis and I know you will all be doing your part as well. Our health as a community and that of our loved ones depends on all of us being sensible and hopefully we will all be back to normal before too long.

Hi everyone,

Just a quick post to say, not to worry if you need to cancel your bookings with me due to the Covid-19 issues, no matter how late you cancel. The situation is changing everyday and none of us know what next week will bring.

I will also mention that we are still working and so far (fingers crossed) asymptomatic, so if you are virus free and need help with your pets, then we are here for you.

Hi everyone,

This year marks a milestone in the history of Pet Angels UK, as the company was established in 2010.

That’s 10 years of serving our local community and the pets we love and I’d like to thank you all for your ongoing support and repeated custom.

Sadly, previous owner Karen has now retired, partly due to ill health but as an original Pet Angel who has been here from the beginning, I will now be taking over the reigns. Karen will of course be missed and I’d like to wish her all the best for the future.

I look forward to continuing the good work of Pet Angels UK, where our mission has always been to care for your animals when you can’t be there and hope that those who have been on this journey with us so far will continue to do so.

Here’s to another 10 years

It is with great sadness that I have to say that dear Shula passed over the 🌈 bridge yesterday. Peacefully, and with her family. She is with her beloved Dougie now and they can chase deer like they used to. 😢

Vehicle drivers. PLEASE could you stop and check if you run an animal over. Twice this week, I’ve dealt with cats that have been knocked over. The poor cat this morning was knocked over probably a few mins before I got there. A family will be very upset today. Thank goodness for microchips and vets who can trace the owners. It’s broken my heart. If it were a child would you keep driving?

Very sad news. Dougie crossed the rainbow bridge this evening. He was recently diagnosed with cancer and up until yesterday he enjoyed his walk with me. He stopped eating today and his family knew he was saying ‘It’s time’. He went peacefully with those who loved him with him at home. Enjoy chasing balls up there darling. We love you so much ### 🌈❤️
