Olive Tree Skinks 💚🦎
Another new species to Just Scales and these tree skinks are gorgeous!! An extremely active species, these guys are out and about constantly and are hand feeding without hesitation

These guys are available as a pair only so be quick as they won’t be here for long! 🦎👀

💚🐍 Oriental Whip Snakes
These guys are amazing (even when in shed)! If you’re looking for something a bit different then these guys are it!

Whip snakes are found throughout south east asia living in forests 🌿 these can reach up to six feet with some females getting even bigger than that and feed on a wide variety of foods

They also vary so much in colour, when feeling threatened most will change from green to a mixture of bright green and blue patterns

Open until 5 today with a few of these left 👀

Golden Mantella 🧡💛
These guys often go unseen in the shop due to how small and well hidden they are, but when they appear they stand out!!

These small dart frogs are easy to look after and thrive in a bioactive setup 🌿 why not pop in and ask about custom built bioactive terrariums 👀

Carpet Chameleons 💚🦎
There’s been a couple of these guys in store now and you can see why they’ve been so popular!

These are a slightly smaller species than the more common panther chameleon and require slightly different care but are an amazing species to keep 😍

The Just Scales team has grown… 👀
I think it’s about time I introduced you to the newest member of the Just Scales family! This stunning girl (yet to be named) joined me yesterday

She is a Mangrove monitor (Varanus indicus) and should reach around 3.5 feet in length! She is still settling in so may be very shy however if you do catch a glimpse of her you can see how colourful she is 🦎

Why not pop down and see her this weekend 👀

Vietnamese Blue Beauty Snake 💙
These guys are a gorgeous snake for the relatively experienced keeper, this guy is eating weekly without fail and is slowly coming round to short handling sessions!!

WE ARE OPEN 💚🚨
Despite the chaos in and around Wolstanton this morning the shop is open 10-5 today!

Live food should be arriving as usual, loads of reptiles currently available including this incredibly cute baby crested gecko (last one left 🫣) and a few sub adult males left 🦎

Another of my recent favourites is now available! This sumatran short tail python will grow to be a huge snake, only getting to between 4-5 feet but will weigh as much as 8kg!

He’s now fed with us (and is wanting more 👀) and is ready for a new home 🏡

This guy is getting better by the day, now confidently tong feeds and it constantly active (apart from the occasional nap). Working on hand feeding now 👀

The cuteness overload is real!! 😍 A new species to Just Scales, this chahoua mossy gecko is just 8 weeks old! If you’re looking for something a bit different, gets to a reasonable size and eats like a pig then this guy is it 🦎

2024 COMPLETED! 💚🥳
Hi everyone! Wanted to put a post on tonight to firstly wish everyone a happy new year, but also to reflect on 2024!! So much has been achieved this year, Just Scales is now officially 6 months old and is constantly expanding and I can only thank you guys for helping in that!

This year has had its challenges, its ups and its downs and been a complete whirlwind but I couldn’t wish for anything else. 2025 is going to be a huge year for Just Scales, there has been so much planning done and so much more yet to do for 2025 to ensure that all of your scaly pets are happy and healthy🦎🐍

In the meantime these 2025 plans are staying under wraps (for now) 👀. Want to say a massive thank you again to all of you, none of this would have been possible without you and may it continue into 2025 and beyond that

UK CB24 KIMBERLEY ROCK MONITOR 🚨
How gorgeous is this guy (or girl), these really are something special. Kimberley rock monitors are an unusual species to come by, but having a uk captive bred is even more unusual!! 🦎

These guys are a medium size monitor, extremely food driven and have an amazing temperament, this one has been hand feeding already 🦗

Be quick because he won’t be here for long 🫣
