Sorry I’ve not posted in a while….safe to say I’ve had a lot going on 🥹😔😢 however my phone is so full of photos from the past few weeks so here they are!
I’ve had Maisie staffy for a week & Flossy for 2 weeks. This coming week I have Barney & Missy extra too. Plenty of busy days, fun times, sunshine, heavy downpours & lots of cuddles & love 🥰❤️
My Roxie is back at the vets in the morning but thankfully is a lot better & my ankle is less swollen so I can walk well, I just have a swollen foot which I can cope with. Let’s see what the next few weeks throws my way 🫣🙄🫤🐾🦮🐕‍🦺🐕🐩

So my ankle is pretty much the same as last night & I’m still struggling to walk as I can’t bend my foot. I have 2 antibiotics to take before tomorrow so unless they work miracles I can’t see me being fit to walk some of my bigger, stronger dogs nor doing hour walks. It’s just not safe as I’m in pain trying to walk slowly so can’t imagine being pullled. Thank you all SO much for all being so wonderful, kind, caring & for the lovely messages. Also not minding me letting you down & making alternative arrangements, I never have time off but this can’t be helped, I would much rather be working normally than feeling like this 😢😔😣 I’ll keep you posted & will do my best to walk as many dogs as I can tomorrow. 🙏🏼

Just home from the Haywood, I’ve possibly been bitten by something so have an infected, swollen ankle & high temp. Got to start antibiotics tomorrow, more pills to add to the concoction I already take for my back! I’m struggling to walk & can’t bend my ankle at the minute so hoping the tablets work quickly. I’ll do my best to work tomorrow but I may be slow & limping.
Can somebody now please give me a bloody break, I just manage to control my back pain & now this happens, plus dealing with Roxie & her infection.
Currently sat with it elevated & peas on it.
Avoid the long grass at Bradwell Crem. 🌾🌾🦟🐜🪳🕷️

As most of you already know I’m awaiting surgery to remove a cyst from inbetween the lower vertebrae on my spine that is crushing my sciatic nerve. I’m thankfully managing to work now as am taking very strong pain killers & nerve bkockers after really struggling with pain for a number of weeks.
My surgery date is 25th October, the consultant said the recovery could take up to 6 weeks after. I’m trying to keep you all in the loop & understand how hard it is when you rely on me to walk your dogs but until I know how I will feel after surgery I won’t really know how long I’ll need off. I have to be careful of getting an infection in my wound so can’t walk far until it’s fully healed. I’m hoping for a fast recovery so I can get back to what I love doing but I’ll just have to be sensible & listen to my body.
I’ve had to defer my Manchester half marathon place & Conwy half & am unable to run at all which isn’t making me feel too great.
Thanks for all being so understanding & as lovely as always. It just can’t be helped. I’ve not had any holidays now this year knowing I’ll need time off after surgery.
So as it stands I’ll be off work from Monday 27th October. But am unsure how long for yet. 🐾💖

📣 Just letting you all know that I will be off from the 18th- 22nd August. Sorry for the late notice but I’ve had a lot on with Chloe awaiting her army date & my back issues. I’m also waiting on my MRI results so depending on what happens after that I’ll hopefully be able to continue working if my pain relief is managed.

Huge apologies for the lack of photos, I’ve missed so many of my gang 😔 as most of you know I’ve been really struggling with my back…especially in the mornings on my 1st walks. I apologise now for the people I’ve had a breakdown on 1st thing or who have seen me limping & bent over on their cameras! Then the people who see me in an afternoon wouldn’t know anything is wrong at all. I’ve had some stronger painkillers today & am awaiting an urgent MRI scan so I’m trying to remain positive & hopefully have a better week walking next week with less tears! 😢🥹🙏🏼
I was lucky enough to meet Bella’s baby Dougie yesterday so that cheered me up, he is just utterly perfect.
