Who let the dogs out, who? Who? Who? Who? 🐕🐶

Did you know it’s a legal requirement for your dog to have a dog tag!? In the uk. According to the control of dogs order 1992, as well as The animal health act 1981 makes it a legal requirement to have a ID tag as well as an offence to walk a dog in a public place without one. Which could leave you with a hefty fine of £5000 😧 in addition to the fine you may be prosecuted meaning you could spend up to 6 months in prison.

Here at plants plus garden centre we have an amazing dog tagging engraving machine that will take the stress away to make sure that you’re complying with the law. Why not pop into store and get your dog tags today. 🐕

AXOLOTL

✨ Ambystoma mexicanum✨

We have had some lovely axolotl’s delivered to Plants plus garden centre recently! They’re gaining quite the attraction in our aquatics department 🤩

Fun facts; Did you know axolotl can regenerate themselves!?, meaning that if they lose a limb they can grow it back! 😮 how amazing!.
Camouflage- they can camouflage themselves to hide themselves from predators and prey
The “feathers” on their heads are actually gills and like fish is what helps them breathe under water
The name “axolotl” roughly translates to “Water monster” in the ancient Aztec language of Nahuatl

Axolotls can live up to 15 years within captivity.

They are a type of salamander that doesn’t go through metamorphosis meaning that they stay in the “tadpole” state for the rest of their lives, unlike regular salamanders and other amphibians who start off as tadpoles and continue to grow to best suit their new habitats.

How cool are these!!
