Some dogs love jumping in the dirtiest of puddles getting filthy dirty, some dogs like to tip toe around the mud and some dogs like to roll in it! It’s just part and parcel of having a happy dog. It feels like fun and good to them, some dogs even do it to mark the scent of the shampoo they’ve just been washed in the night before! A dog’s natural instinct is to smell like their surroundings for hunting or protection.
And having a happy dog means more to me than having a bit mud on them.
But I always, on our return do my upmost best to make sure they are cleaned off to be placed back into their home so you’re happy too.

So I passed the yellow teapot in whickham this afternoon and decided to stop to grab a couple of take out beef dinners for me and my mam and wow honestly they were absolutely divine! Definitely recommend 👏 Two beef dinners and a can of pop! £18:80 You cannot go wrong! AND no washing up! Win win all round 👌🏼 The Yellow Teapot

Our Story

I have always been passionate about working with animals from a young age and had a desire to work with and train dogs. I have over 30 years personal animal experience and currently have 4 beautiful dogs of my own that require daily grooming and walking. It is a thing I enjoy investing time and energy into. I also have an amazing indoor house rabbit who requires a daily routine.

I am a very keen self learner and I am dedicated to ongoing professional development, I currently hold Diplomas in Dog grooming professional, Animal first aid, Puppy Training, Dog behaviour and Dog Psychology. Including my personal strengths such as patience, honesty having integrity and a caring and understanding attitude towards each individual animal, plus, believe it or not I actually enjoy dancing in the rain with the dogs whilst out walking.

I know people have choices in pet service providers and I truly value the trust that my clients place in me and my services I provide. I am committed to providing superior quality care to each and every pet and to providing exceptional client service to ensure a stress free, pet care experience. This is also why Wag and Walk is insured for £2 million and I have Enhanced Police Checks to help clients make a safer recruitment decision.

I’m an animal lover and during the times the animals are under my care you will find I like to sing and chat away to them whilst I work. This helps minimise anxiety, if any, and helps the animals feel more connected to me whilst they are away from their owners. I can promise my clients that they can feel confident their pets are in capable, caring hands.
