Dedicated to giving back to our community by aiding in the rehoming of dogs in need from Macedonia to families across the UK who are eager to adopt.

🧡ADOPT OR FOSTER ME!🧡My name is Megan. I'm a 6 months old large breed girl, kenneled in Macedonia and want to be fostered or adopted! I can travel to the UK in a flash!

🐾About me...🐾
Me, my sister and my mum were dumped on the streets in Macedonia. You can see from the photos how sad and awful it was😢
Abandoned in an unsafe area, our chances of survival were slim, and so some kind people decided to help and placed us in kennels. We are safe now and eternally grateful, but there is never enough love or attention to go around, and we spend our days in our kennel. It isn't much of a life and we really need homes of our own💔

🐾What am I like?.....🐾
I met the lovely lady from SWB recently when she visited😍 She said that meeting me was a wonderful experience and that I'm a playful, jolly pupster who loves to goof around🥰 I have a wonderful character, love other dogs, love a cuddle and love to play any games! 🤩I'm an absolute joy to be around and whoever adopts me is going to love me to bits, as I will them 😘

They think I'm possibly an akita cross 🐕as I have the softest and flooffiest fur and my looks resemble the breed. I'm turning into a big teddy bear 🧸.

🐾What kind of home 🏡do I need?...🐾
I am looking for a family who loves and has experience with large dogs, is happy to put lots of training with me and lives in a rural / semi-rural area. Ideally I would like to have another doggy friend, and I could live with older dog-savvy children👨‍👩‍👧‍👧.

💛ADOPT OR FOSTER sweet Dora🐕 who is in kennels in Preesall and is dreaming of her forever home. She is a pretty lab mix female, 5 years old, 23kg💛

Dora's story is a sad one😢.This lovely girl had a family👨‍👩‍👦 and a home🏠 in the UK, but they returned her due to her insecurity around strangers and visitors in the house, as well as when on walks. This poor girl didn't understand why she was left in kennels or what she had done for her people to leave her.

Dora is a lab/shepherd cross🐕 and can display guarding behaviour as well, however when she is relaxed and surrounded with the people she knows and feels safe with she is the most amazing dog🤩 She knows many commands🏅, she loves cuddles and is affectionate🥰

🌼Dora has been working hard in kennels on her training and has really improved. She is now looking for the right forever home🏡

🌻She is a wonderful dog. She is incredibly clever, learns commands very quickly and LOVES to play! She is such a playful and happy girl and has such a cheeky personality😊She travels well in the car🚗, can be left at home alone and enjoys playing with other like minded bouncy doggies!🐶🐶🐶
🌻She shows signs of fear based aggression and can be reactive to humans. Visitors can be managed once she knows people well, and she eventually does form close bonds with others outside of her family.

🌼Dora has undergone behavioural training for guarding food🍗and spaces and has shown improvement with this.
🌼Dora has excellent recall and always wants to be near her humans😍 She absolutely loves being outside, playing fetch and running about.
🌼She’s an absolute joy, and anyone would be very lucky to have her.

⭐️What kind of home does Dora need?⭐️
🌻We are looking for a home with experienced dog owners who are able to manage fear reactivity.
🌻Dora loves other dogs so would benefit of another confident canine friend. We would also prefer a calmer household, ideally in a rural/semi-rural environment for her. But this is not a deal breaker.
🌻She cannot be homed with children due to her reactivity and general bounciness. She is also very fearful of cats🐈‍⬛.

🐾Neutered, microchipped and vaccinated. Rescue support and back up provided by us🐾

We are very glad to finally see the media address the urgent issue of soaring veterinary costs, which are sadly unaffordable for many pet owners and have led to tragic consequences for animals in need of care. It's also important to shed light on the concerning decline in professionalism within some practices — including refusals to treat animals in need, the spread of biased narratives, and the unjustified discrimination against adopted dogs, particularly those from abroad.

Our suggestion to investigative journalists is to explore the financial structures of veterinary clinics, specifically the profits of large corporate chains and the salaries of executives, in contrast with the wages of practicing veterinarians and the earnings of independent clinics. Such a comparison could provide valuable insight into where the real pressures in the industry lie.

🌸Molly's background...🌸

💗Molly and her sister💗Millie were born on the streets of Macedonia and were living as strays in a rural village. Some people were feeding them but there were others who didn’t like their presence and wanted to poison them😡. A good Samaritan rescued the two puppies and placed them in kennels where they were safe and cared for, and they recently both travelled to the UK to their new foster homes where Molly is doing really well🥰

🐕About Molly..🐕

🌷This gorgeous girl is very friendly but a little timid. She has lived with other dogs all her life and gets on very well with dogs of all sizes. She can live with other dogs 🐶 cats🐈 and currently lives with small furries. Having another friendly dog in the home will be a great benefit for Molly – she will love having someone 🐶 to play with and it will help her gain confidence to have someone she can lean on🌷

🌺Molly is a very loving and affectionate girl. She’s medium size 17kg and won’t grow much bigger. She has a gentle disposition and will become a lovely family dog, although her past experience with people means she may need a little time to gain confidence in new people🌺

🪻Molly can live with dog savvy children🪻

🌹Molly is a big eater and needs a lot of walking /activity. She has extremely good recall and is lovely on the lead🌹

🪷 A rural or semirural area and a home with a fair size garden will be ideal🪷

💕UPDATE on our lovebirds Loki and Ljubica (now Cleo)💕

Loki and Cleo were in the shelter together in Macedonia. They were together through all the hardships and tough times....the dream team(see photo 1) 🥰

We tried to get them adopted together but noone applied. Then someone asked for Cleo, and when she got adopted and travelled to the UK she left Loki behind in the shelter😢. He pined for her and was so depressed he didn't eat for a week. Cleo, on the other hand, moved on very easily, loving her new life and soon forgetting all about poor old Loki. Some girls are just like that 😆.

Happily, Loki is also now adopted. He sent this photo of himself in his finery😍 (see photo 2) to show Cleo what she is missing 🤣. Cleo is having none of it and so has sent her own barrage of photos in return evidencing what a true diva princess👸 she is now. Here are but a few of those photos 🤩.

Thus endeth their love story 💔. Not everything can last forever. But they each have their memories of the time they shared together, and will always hold each other close in their hearts🩷💙

Tasha has been through so much and her story is a sad one. Tasha says:

🐾Hello Friends. My name is Tasha and I'm a 5 to 6-year-old lab mix girl who has experienced a huge transformation since I was found in a horrible state in a Macedonian village two years ago 😢. I had erlichia and severe demodicosis. I had no fur and people treated me like I had the plague! It was so terrible, and I was scared and just moments away from dying. My last hope was in the hands of my rescuers. Thankfully, they saved me and managed to nurture me back to health ❤️‍🩹. And I've been absolutely fine ever since. Just look at me! I'm pretty gorgeous 😍

💔Unfortunately I ended up being one of the longest residents at the shelter, spending my days in a small, confined space. But Inever gave up. I had already come too far to ever give up hope.

⚘️Luckily, I was recently brought to the UK to be fostered in Leicestershire. It's a nice family but I know they're not MY family and I really want to find my forever home⚘️

🌸Despite my hard start in life, in kennels I was known for my lovely temperament and loved everyone, including kids and other dogs. However, the transition from shelter to a foster was difficult for me and it set me back. I'm working hard and mproving every day though. I like when others respect my space and will let you know if I'm uncomfortable 🌸.

🌷I'm hoping for an adult only home now with calmer males as I can be a bit dominant.
🪻I'm quite large and playful, and some dogs find it intimidating, so I'd do best with a very relaxed dog and owners who have experience with large dogs
🌺A rural home would be perfect 👌

🌻I have no recall, but like to run and play in safe areas. I can pull on the lead but am improving.
🌼I'm wary of strangers and need very gradual introductions.

Unlike my sister Megan, I have been a bit more shy. I did have an injury to my leg which is now all better but I think this made me more fearful. It is hard being scared and in pain, especially as I'm still just a baby. I'm a gentle but shy girl who seeks out the company of other dogs and needs them for reassurance.

🩷ADOPT PRINCESS ROXI! This little treasure is now in UK foster and is ready to be adopted!🩷
🌸Whoever adopts 7 month old Roxi is one very lucky family because we think she is PERFECT🤩. And Roxi's foster mum agrees and says she is a little dream🌸

Roxi says:

🐾Look how far I've come! I was dumped in a box in Macedonia and now I'm blossoming 🌸 in foster in North East UK! I'm a really friendly, affectionate little girl and I get on great with the other dogs🐶🩵 in my fosterhome. I also like people and I ADORE being fussed. I'm a cute, cheeky and loveable little dot 🥰.

I get star⭐️points because:
⭐️I'm the prettiest little princess. Look at my smile 🥰
⭐️I can live with other animals and would actually prefer a doggy friend 🐕

Don’t get animals if you’re not planning to stick around through the good times and the hard times.

Put yourself in their place, and be there for them the way you’d want others to be there for you. ❤️‍🩹

Animals form attachments. They understand when they’re abandoned. They feel anxiety, sadness and fear. They deserve better treatment from us.

I'm 2 years old and at only 7.7kg I'm like a beautiful little puff of air!🌬

I was rescued from the streets because my rescuers saw I was too teeny to survive those mean streets alone. I'm now in kennels in Macedonia but I dream of a new life....🌈

⭐️I'm miniature (obviously 🤣) and VERY friendly. Let me elaborate...
I can be rehomed with other dogs, dog savvy children and even cats. I'm an all round goody x
