More About the Charity:
Animal Cancer Trust is a charity dedicated to supporting pet owners whose animals have been diagnosed with cancer. They provide resources on diagnosis, treatment options, veterinary services, and personal stories from other pet owners.
Their goal is to offer vital information and support via their website and social media, helping pet owners understand what to expect and how to access the best possible care for their pets.
If you’re looking for support or can’t find the information you need, you can contact them at [email protected].
Early detection is crucial—most concerning clinical signs in pets are caused by less serious issues, but if it is cancer, early diagnosis can make a significant difference. While many pet owners dread this diagnosis, there are numerous treatment options and resources to help manage the disease. Unlike the NHS, cancer information for pets can be limited, and many vets in general practice aren’t equipped to provide advanced cancer care.
Animal Cancer Trust aims to be the first port of call for pet owners, providing the guidance and resources needed to navigate a cancer diagnosis and find the care your pet deserves.
Thank you for your support, and good luck in the competition! 🎄🐾
