Hi everyone!

Just wanted to apologise to every client we could not speak to today.
We had to multitask to the max with no vets today due to sickness and holidays - doing nurse visits, triaging, deliveries urgent medications, managing the phone all at the same time as one of our vans breaking down.
So a bit of a mad Friday!

I am currently texting everyone where we missed their call.
I will be able to ring anyone back before 9pm and will also catch up tommorow afternoon too.
Please bear with me!

We will be closed on bank holiday Monday. Our phone lines are open at 9am on Tuesday.

Thankyou for everyone being so patient. Every one of our clients and pets are important to us.

Vets on the Meowve is a fully mobile veterinary practice, providing exceptional care to pets in the comfort of their homes. We’re expanding our team and are seeking a dedicated veterinary surgeon to join us in delivering high-quality, personalized care.

🩺 The perfect candidate would enjoy a mix of consults and surgery.

⏰ Working from 8am-6pm. Full time 40 hours over 4 days but part time may be considered.

🥳No weekends or OOH.

💰 Competitive Salary and paid over time.

🏖️ 6 weeks holiday.

🫂 You would be working along side a RVN or VCA each day.

🗣 You must have good communication skills to build relationships with clients and colleagues.

🚐 Having a driving licence would be beneficial but not essential as the majority of the driving is done by the nursing team.

💻 Time to write clinical notes and catch up on admin while driving between appointments.

Meet sweetie pie Mickie 🦜

Our exotics nurse Ty recently saw Mickie for a wellbeing MOT and to trim her nails and beak.

Ty discussed to 5 welfare needs with Mickie’s mam which includes:

😇 Behaviour

As always we try our best to ensure all of our patients have a positive experience with us. Making friends with them first, allowing them to adjust to us being in their home. We never rush our patients and using Pet Remedy calming spray is one method we use which works on all species, giving an instant calming effect.

Mickie didn’t hold a grudge after her nail and beak trim and was happy to sit on Ty’s hand and chat away.

Such a good little girl, we look forward to seeing you again soon 🩵

How beautiful is Isla? 🖤

Our vet and nurse team went along to see Isla for her annual health check and booster. She is a little shy at first but loved playing outside with her new toy!

As we don’t time our visits we give each pet the time they need to get to know us a little more and a reward of a treat or playtime at the time of our visit helps pets feel at ease.

Isla’s family also take full advantage of our Pet Health Club, spreading the cost of her preventive treatments.

Bella has that Friday feeling 😍

Our team recently went along to see Bella for a check up. As you can see she wasn’t phased one bit!

As Rabbit Awareness Week is in full swing, Billy and Benji would like to remind other bunny buddies how important regular check ups are.

We strongly recommend 6 monthly health checks to ensure we are keeping your bunnies in tip top condition.

This time of year, its very important to keep checking your rabbits bottoms, making sure they are clean. Those pesky little flies can lay eggs on dirty or soiled areas. Those eggs can hatch into maggots within a few hours in warm weather.

Hi,

I am sorry to any client I havnt been able to speak to today. I am up to 4.30pm on the calls but have to stop due to the time.
We will catch up on Monday morning.
We have been short staffed today in the office and the phone line has been incredibly busy!

I am employing another nurse and have our new veterinary care assistant starting in a few weeks so we can cater for covering holidays and sickness.

Thankyou so much for everyone being so patient!
I will be working on getting back to everyone who has emailed too. Our emails have been down for 48 hours now but our guy is working on it now.

I am txting everyone with the route for Monday too.

Gorgeous Grace 🧡

Our nursing team went along to see Grace for a microchip and give this older lady a MOT too.
Usually Grace would be stressed travelling to a vets. We took that stress away by doing everything within the comfort of her home.

Grace was such a good girl for her check over and microchip. Even waiting patiently for treats and being very affectionate and playful with us.

Our older patients do need regular check ups, we recommend every 6 months to make sure we keep them comfortable as they grow old gracefully or pick up on any potential health concerns early.

Magnificent Molly 💚

Our exotic team went along to see Molly recently when her family were worried she developed a lump.

Molly is usually a little shy around new people. We took our time, gaining her trust and by the end of our examination she was sitting on our shoulders and chatting away, saying her favourite phrases and mincing her canine companion.

It truly warms our hearts when our normally shy or nervous patients feel so comfortable around us!

Even our feathered friends need regular check ups to ensure we are keeping them in tip top condition 🦜

Did you know? 🤔

By law all cats need to be microchipped even indoor cats.
This is to ensure any missing or stray cats can be reunited with their family.

We are working hard to book all of our wonderful feline patients in ASAP. Microchipping is done by our nursing team who come to your home and place a small implant under the skin between the shoulder blades (similar to having a vaccine).

Your details will then be registered on an online database, you will receive confirmation your pets microchip has been registered, usually within 48 hours after implant.
