Now I have your attention with Archies face, I have an announcement to make....

I started grooming at the age of 15, I'm 40 this year so as you can all imagine, the job is definitely starting to take it's toll on me.

Mainly my back 😞

I LOVE grooming bigger dogs but I HAVE to make the decision to stop taking on dogs over a certain weight (this will include small dogs who are overweight too).

I work alone and have done for years, I do have hydraulic tables and a hydraulic bath but sometimes those heavier dogs still need lifting, holding and restraining for over 2hrs and it's starting to do some damage to my back.

All my bigger clients right now, of course I will carry on grooming but, if in the future I need more time with them, I will have to increase prices for this.

Its not a decision I've made overnight but if I want to carry on this job for another 25yr I HAVE to be selfish and think of myself and my own health.
