Bit of a new one today at Dragons Den!

These cute little suckers are CB European green toads, a hardy arid toad hailing from Eastern Europe. This means they don't really like moist wet environments like most other frogs and toads, and prefer a sandy soil with small waterbowl. They are very hardy, with ideal temperature range being about 23-27, and make a perfect beginners toad as they are functionally bulletproof. when it comes to care.

1-2: Very robust handsome male mixed morph dalmation, large juvenile to subadult

3-4: 'Halloween' mixed morph baby

5-6: 'Mahogany' mixed morph baby - both fire up super dark brown/red/black! Stunning little ones.

All are feeding well on blue river diets and Arcadia SFG, and taking locusts too

Lets talk bromeliads!

A hugely diverse family of plants, these guys pop up a lot in supermarkets etc becaude of their beautiful flowers. You also may be familiar with the most famous member of the bromeliad family - pineapples!

These plants are epiphytic, meaning that in the wild they don't grow in soil, rather they grow attached to other plants, usually trees. This makes them excellent additions to tropical vivariums as they can be planted in moss high in the enclosure and attached to cork and branches.

Some are non-flowering, but most bromeliads will flower once and then the flower will die and can be cut off. Sturdy thick leaves makes them great for geckos and frogs to rest on!

They love high humidity and can be watered via the central 'well' in the middle of the plant.

We'll be showcasing some more excellent vivarium plants soon, as we've had quite a few enquiries about bioactive enclosures. We are happy to lend a helping hand in setting one of these up, or even set one up for you!

This very photogenic Central American banded gecko makes an excellent alternative to the leopard gecko and is a great unique animal to add to any keepers home regardless of experience.

Native to Central America, they live in a wide variety of environments making them very tolerant of humidity changes, temperatures, and not needy or difficult reptiles at all.

This little one is super docile and already an adult, feeding well on locusts!

1 x Mack Snow - the last one sold so fast and these guys are always popular, we dont anticipate him sticking around for long!
1 x RAPTOR - stands for red eye albino patternless tremper orange. Yes, this little cutie has bright red eyes, and is a very handsome and chilled out example of the morph!
