Large Stables with rubber matting and automatic waterers. Two competition standard arenas with new 2016 fibrelok surfaces, 20x60 with mirrors and 30x50 with jumps, 200m canter track with flexi-ride surface and a 20m enclosed lunge pen with a rubber and fibre premix. All year turnout in safe fields with mains electric fencing and a worming programme. Bedding and Haylage for sale.

So we had a team today at the Cotswold Team Chase in the Novice fun class. And the Fairfields Flyers won! Out of 51 teams! Well done Tom, EJ, George and Ellie! Thank you South West Eventing for selling us two of the horses. Leo in the novice and Darcy in the mini! And thank you Hardy Equestrian for the team wear and skins!

Update the Team in the mini family fun also got team 4th! What a day!

Ensure you provide access to fresh, clean water at all times is essential.

Regularly clean water troughs or buckets to prevent contamination and encourage drinking
When traveling or competing, carry sufficient water and offer it frequently to prevent dehydration
Monitor your horse's hydration by observing urine colour and frequency, as well as skin elasticity
Consider adding electrolytes to their diet, under veterinary guidance, to replenish lost minerals and encourage water consumption

Great IR Bridles. Our big horse Leo is extra full size and now has no issues in his head after his new bridle whereas he had previously been sore when he had physio. Beautifully made!

How every IR Bridle starts. A lovely piece of bridle butt being straight edged by hand.

I had a brief trip up the motorway this week to select a pair of butts in person for the next few bridles 😍.

A few spaces have opened up for bridles to be made after mid July so do get in contact if you are thinking of having an IR Bridle made.

A lovely day spent at Badminton Grassroots Championship where our lovely livery Michelle Newnham and Louis were competing in the 90 Championship. Fantastic to qualify after a couple of years of challenges where Louis had colic surgery. This horse is epic and his rider pretty amazing too. So well deserved you have worked so hard for it. Well done a fantastic dressage, double clear and to finish 9th 👏👏👏 you superstars. 🎉🎉🎉🤩🤩🤩🦄🦄🦄

Our Story

DIY, Part & Full Livery available is available at our friendly yard, between Ledbury & Newent, on the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire border, just 15 mins from Hartpury College. I set the yard up in 2002, having been a livery customer myself. I have five of my own equines to look after, with two dogs, two cats and three hens who also live on the yard. Fairfields is an IDEAL COMPETITION BASE, whatever your discipline. Home to two professional riders, Katie Bailey Dressage and South West Eventing - Isobel Hudson, who offer schooling and tuition on site. We have excellent facilities for Horse & Rider with two competition standard arenas, with mirrors and show jumps, a canter track, a lunge pen, hot water shower and solarium. Individual and group turnout all year round on our free draining sandy soil.

We have liveries from all walks of life, who enjoy hacking, competing and just looking after their horses. Some compete in eventing and dressage, some hunt or do working hunter showing and we have several ponies who compete in pony club mounted games, eventing and show jumping with my own children.
