Trixie and Bella π a gorgeous pair!!
Bonzo, such a lovely and chilled boy as you can see π«ΆπΌπ
Look how amazing Nikita was at her first ever dog grooming session a couple of weeks ago! ππΌ Her owner had told me she didnβt like hair dryers or Hooversβ¦ Look how content she was with the dryer, just like children dogs will act completely different when their parents are not around! π€£ Even managed to trim her nails! π
What a gem β¨ and on top of all that she was an absolute pleasure to have in the grooming room π₯°
And they call it.. Puppy loveeee π«ΆπΌ
This little 5 month old pup is Lenny! His first ever groom so of course he was nervous and apprehensive of the grooming space.
As you can see I mainly focused on familiarising Lenny, letting him explore the grooming room at his own pace, introducing him to the sounds etc and Instead of a full bath I just washed his paws and then dried them! π§Ό
Also, whoβd have known using Alexa to play dog & puppy sounds would cause such a great distraction! Watch the video and youβll see π
He was as puppies are, very inquisitive, unsure of clippers, drier, bath noises but he did so well for his first time! πΆ
He came with his friend Mitsy who is a regular here, a little bit of moral support π₯°
Maggie β¨
This video means so much! If youβve been on this page a while you may remember Maggie. She first came to me super nervous and scared, the first appointment was just familiarisation to the grooming room. Getting used to the sounds of the dryer and bath etc, she just about got into the room. The second appointment she made it into the bath and we sat and had cuddles. This time she managed a full groom!! π₯Ή I feel so proud! π
Like Iβve said before, Iβll never force a dog into a groom if theyβre just too scared, they will never make progress that way. Maggie is a prime example of how slow and steady really can win the race π
Bonzo πΆ
Ever wondered what goes on during a dog grooming session?
Wonder no more! ππΌ Now you really can see what a good boy Bonzo was!π
