Woolmer Cottage Stables

We have been a transit yard for horses, 80% being thoroughbreds, but including every size and shape of horse and pony, for the last 21 years. Horses stay for anything from 1 hour to 1 month to 1 year on their way from anywhere in the world to anywhere else in the world. We have 20 acres of post and rail paddock, a horsewalker and indoor turn-out barn and side and back loading ramps. There are 14 12ftx12ft concrete stables with foam matting and 8 16ftx12ft stables again with foam matting on the floors making them comfortable and safe. Our long standing clients include many of the top shipping agents and transporters. Living on site means there is virtually always someone on site 24 hours a day.
