I’ve added a new selection of patterns to the Bandana collection this week.
They are fully lined and top stitched to keep their shape, and go over the collar.
Any size £4.00.
For those that have asked for bandanas with Velcro fastening I have now got the stars and butterfly pattens available with Velcro 😊
This weekend marked the 10th anniversary of Kay-9 Grooming.
It’s amazing that so many of the dogs that came in my first year of opening are still coming to me now along with so many new dogs joining over the years. Sadly many have passed away too including my little Harry but they all contributed to making the salon a success and allowing me to do a job I love.
Thank you to everyone that has supported my little salon and have made it so successful, hopefully we have many more years ahead !!

Hi, just a quick post for those that like to book multiple appointments ahead, the diary is now open up to the end of September.
When working out your dates please avoid Bank holidays and August 5th-13th as the salon will be closed on those dates.

I hope everyone has had a lovely Christmas.
I’m just about to start working my way through all of the messages that were left over Christmas, as usual there is a lot of them so please bare with me, they may not all get done today but I’ll get through them ASAP.
I’m back at the salon tomorrow ready to start another year of making all the dogs beautiful 😊.

If anyone is looking for a last minute Christmas present or just wants to treat themselves then I am able to personalise mugs with your own dogs photo.
They are £10 each and would be available for collection on Saturday morning between 9:00-10:00 🎁

Personalised bunny treat bags filled with Gravy bones are available for £6 (or £5 without the treats)
If you would like one for a person, please let me know and I will leave off the paw print and it will be left empty for you to fill with your own treats.
To order a bunny treat bag let me know which colour you would like and the name to put on or if you would just like it to say Happy Easter.
Both colours have ribbons to tie either at the sides or the back.
Bandanas also available any size for £4.

I just want to remind everyone that if you cannot attend your appointment to please let me know, ideally a minimum of 24hours in advance but even if you have a change of plan on the day then a phone call or text message to let me know would be very much appreciated.
If you do not let me know then the full cost of your appointment is to be paid before your appointment is rebooked.
The sofa is far more popular than the bath, these two came in and were snoozing in minutes 😴, I may have to block access to the doggy sofa until after the grooms are finished so I don’t feel so guilty about waking them up 😂
Enough fluff came off Evie and Hugo to almost make another Pug 🐶 it’s amazing how much these little dogs moult.
What better way to end the week than with Max, such a sweet boy 💗
Hugo is just so adorable and full of character 🥰
Little Ernie was such a good boy for his first puppy visit 💙😊
Pablo the Dachshund puppy came in this week with his big sister Poppy for his 1st nail trim visit and was such a good boy ⭐️ Aren’t they both just adorable 🥰
The salon is now Closed for Christmas and will reopen the first week of January.
Thank you for all the gifts, tips and most importantly continued support throughout the year, I really appreciate it all 😊.

How great is little Chewbacca ! He came in for a puppy introduction groom (bath, dry, feet trim and nails) and was a little star particularly for his nails, it’s not the most practical way of trimming them but it worked for him and meant he had a positive first experience at the salon 😊
I’m always asked by owners when they come back for their dogs who are barking with excitement at seeing them again if they have barked for the whole visit, usually the answer is no not at all. This is the reality of what it is actually like when no one else is in the salon 🐶😴 😴 lovely relaxed dogs 💗😊
