We are asked regularly about what Instar(I) or Larval stage(L) our Spiders are. These numbers are not an accurate way of judging the age of a Spider. They are classed as I2 when leaving the egg sac, but the way they are fed can dramatically affect how often they molt and move on a number. This is because over feeding increases their metabolism rate which means they mature faster and die sooner. Many breeders power feed Slings to make them grow faster so they can be sold quicker. Breeders that raise Slings communally have to over feed them to stop them eating each other. Our Slings are potted individually once leaving the sac and fed every three days or so to give them a more natural rate of growth. When you get a Spider off us it will have the date it left the egg sac on the pot it arrives in. They should molt monthly after that when fed correctly.

I have contacted everyone who is on our waiting list, but there are a few that weren't possible to message back.

Royal Fail are having major problems with their tracking now. Tracking numbers are duplicating on the system which means that they are showing as delivered already when used previously. This means that they track so far, but do not show as delivered because they are already showing as delivered. Spent hours on the phone in waiting queues but still happening and they are pretending they do not know it is happening, even though post office staff say they do. Absolute shambles. 😡

Due to an extremely busy period, and with very late feeding rotas into the wee hours, it has become very difficult for us to keep up with our normal photo shoots of all our jumpers we currently have available for new homes.(feeding comes first 😊)
We have plenty available, if they are not listed, or even some showing as out of stock.
