Xhabu update ❣️
As most of you know, we had heartbreak back in July 2023, when our beloved Siamang Xhabu suffered a stroke.
It's now been over a year since Xhabu had the stroke which effected the whole left side of his body and his balance, he also struggled to eat unaided for sometime, and he lost the ability to sing/communicate with his family as well.
It was an incredibly upsetting time for everyone.
There have been lots of highs and many low moments on Xhabus stroke journey, but today will go down in our haven history, as the day our boy started singing with his family, he hasn't been able to join in with the gibbon chorus for over a year and to be honest we never thought we would hear him sing again!
We couldn't wait to share this with you. We are so incredibly proud of this boy, and it's an incredible milestone for him.

Our first wild owl that came into our care a few weeks ago has successfully been released.
This beauty has done really well, he has put on a nice amount of weight and even though he had trouble flying when he came in, he finally found his wings and showed us he was ready to go home.🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳🌳
