This 1-2-1 session with Fern was all about turning an ordinary walk into an adventure!

We mainly focused on motivation — helping this clever girl stay engaged with her human throughout the walk. We looked at what excites Fern to give her confidence in unknown territories, she loves a stick, crispy leaves and agility over fallen logs!

Instead of the same route, we explored new paths and let curiosity lead the way. Unknown routes = new smells, fresh sights, and plenty of sniffing opportunities — which keeps walks fun and interesting for both dog and owner!

Polite request from Rheva.

On our regular morning walk today Rheva was charged at not once, but 5 times by off lead dogs, all at least twice the size of her, while she was on lead. Their owners could not recall them, many owners didn’t even have a lead!

While the dogs may very well have been friendly, having a dog charge at you full speed can be scary for the most well balanced dog, especially a small breed dog.

Imagine having a 6 foot, 20 stone body builder running towards you shouting!! You would be extremely scared!

So please if you have no recall, think of others and keep your dog on lead!
