Some of the collars I have made in the last month. EM tick collars are safe and natural. They can be as effective as chemical products, without the potential dangerous side effects. It can take up to 4 weeks of continuous wear for the collars to become fully effective, so they need to be worn now.

WHAT IS EM™?

EM® stands for Effective Microorganisms®, a brand name referring to a family of microbial-based products using a technology developed by Japanese scientist Dr. Teruo Higa. HOW DOES IT WORK?



EM™ (Effective Microorganism) ceramics emit far infrared waves, the longest rays in the light spectrum. This wavelength is highly compatible with human and animal tissue. This improved and balanced environment in your dog (created by EM) can help keep ticks from attaching to your dog.

EM™ ceramics are made by fermenting a special clay with approximately 80 different microorganisms (EM) and then baked. The pipes are baked at 1200 C, due to the fact that in the baking process the structure of the clay changes, trapping the EM within its matrix. As a result, these EM pipes exert their influence purely through their physical properties and remain effective for a long time.

An EM™ Tick Collar can be as effective as any tick repellent found on the market, but without side effects. That makes it also safe for dogs with allergies and sensitivities. However, there is no 100% guarantee EM collars nor any other tick product will keep ticks off of our furry friends!

Nevertheless, the best prevention is to avoid known tick areas, and checking your dog AND yourself for ticks after every nature walk.

EM ceramics are safe if you have children in your household. (although, don't let the kids nor dogs eat them!). For safety please do not put a collar of any kind on a dog that is crated.

Please note that this product does not come with a guarantee of its effectiveness. It is a natural product that uses no chemicals. Tick populations and activity vary according to region and season. The collars work best if worn 24/7, but after the first four weeks they can be taken off for short periods. It’s a gamble you guys 🎲

When you bring your seizing dog to the vet and the FIRST question is not “what do you use for flea and tick meds?” Then you know we have a big problem here.

Most people tell me that when their dog has a seizure or any neurological issue they take the dog to the vet and after tons of bloodwork and test after test with a clean bill of health that their vet never, not once, asked about flea and ticks meds that might have been given.

How are consumers ever going to learn about the dangers of this product if vets don’t even CONSIDER that this drug MIGHT be part of the problem? When you get a new puppy and you go to the vet guess what is in your puppy pack? Yup. One of these chewables.

I’m not sure what else to do so I just spread the word. It’s all we can do.
