Below is the Sandy Paws Parlour 2023 updated booking policy. Please be aware that by booking an appointment with me, you are agreeing to my policy.

Cancellations: 🐾
Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior the appointment will require a 50% payment and will not be re-arranged unless this is paid. This is due to the fact I will not be able to fill the space in such short time and will lose out on my earnings. This goes for any pet services.
If you fail to show up to the appointment with no notice given, 100% of the amount will be due.

Late drop off/pick up: 🐾
If you drop off your dog more than 15 minutes late to their appointment, an additional day care charge of £5 every 10 minutes will be added to the final payment.
If you are 15 minutes late from picking up your dog after the arranged time, the same payments will be due.
This is due to the fact that my salon is run by appointments and I will have to push back all grooms after the first late show, which is not only inconvenient to me as I will be working beyond my opening hours, but it is also inconvenient to all other clients who may have chosen their appointment time for a reason.

Deposits: 🐾
Grooms that have a total of £60+ will require a 50% non-refundable deposit to secure the booking.

Mats: 🐾
If your dog has any mats on their coat, these will absolutely not be brushed out, they will be removed and there is a £5 additional fee. Any dogs with severe matting will be clipped off short to reduce pain and discomfort. Sandy Paws Parlour will not be liable for any after-grooming effects of de-matting, clipping or brushing procedures, or problems uncovered on a badly matted or otherwise neglected coat including, but not limited to, skin redness, itchiness, or self-inflicted irritations from excessive external scratching or rubbing. Time and costs associated with full de-matting are unpredictable, but start at £15. By booking you agree to pay whatever fees are incurred as a result of de-matting. Whether a dog is matted is at the sole discretion of Sandy Paws Parlour. The charge is for the additional time is takes to remove mats carefully to avoid discomfort for the dog. To avoid this, it is recommended for your dog to stick to a 6-8 week grooming schedule with regular brushing at home. 🥰

Fleas: 🐾
An additional £15 will be payable should fleas be found on your dog during their groom. This is to cover the cost of fumigating the salon to avoid cross contamination.

Thank you all for reading! While I understand unforeseen circumstances can occur, I hope you can all understand and respect why this is necessary, as it ensures I can keep my salon open by avoiding loss of earnings. A friendly reminder that is a small business which is my career and income, not a hobby or side job 🥰
