If you have a cat(s) that suffers with anxiety, or is new to your home and you want some help finding comfort and/or help with them settling in, a great solution is a Feliway plug-in diffuser. It contains a copy of the feline facial pheromone.

Scent is very important to a cat in terms of a cat’s personal sense of security. Cats put their own smells on objects by rubbing their facial scent glands against them, I.e., furniture, your legs, etc., and when doing so they are using that naturally produced pheromone to mark the area as safe and secure. The Feliway diffuser can contribute towards re-enforcing their sense of security thus limiting or preventing signs of spaying, scratching or hiding.

The plug-in diffuser can be considered costly, but it’s a worthy purchase if it can help with your cat’s wellbeing.

I’ve spent this weekend with this little fella - Len. Another new customer. He is only about 3/4 years old; the owners are unsure of his exact age because he is another rescue cat and his life history is unknown. I am pleased to tell you he is now living his best life! Mother & daughter: Lily & Molly, respectively. My newest customers and I have them over the weekend. These are rescue cats and are both still very young. They are timid and nervous at times but slowly building confidence every day, with thanks to their owners whom have given these cats a second chance at life. A big shout out to ALL the individuals out there who have taken ownership of a rescue cat. You’re amazing!
