Meet the newest rescue to join us here, Chandler the juvenile Green Iguana.
We were contacted about this little guy as he was dumped on his previous owner by someone who could no longer look after him. They then got in contact with us as caring for an iguana of this size is very complex and they needed some support.
During the short period of time we have had him, his behaviour represents that of a difficult reptile. He needs plenty of time spent working on his social behaviour but we are confident he will get there. The scars he’s left on us have definitely made a lasting impact 🤣

(Not up for rehoming)

Just before Christmas, Scales and Tails received these four gorgeous reptiles due to their owner being no longer able to care for them. This is one of the toughest decisions a reptile owner can make but that’s why we exist. Since arriving, they all have been doing amazing. Individually, they have brought more life into the family!
