Hi my name is Daniel and as a dog owner myself I am starting up this page for the following reason. I have two lhasa apsos I love walking them around the town but I feel like as a town we need to do more for dog owners. I would love to have a area in the town that is fenced of like the football pitch is at the esplanade. The idea is it would be a dog park for all people to use I have had a couple of places in mind. One place is the old park on the Manse Road the other would be at the esplanade behind the tennis courts. I feel as though this would be so beneficial to dog owners of the town. The idea would be a fenced of area with a double gate so as to not let the dogs escape. I would love to get people's apinion on this idea it would definitely be so beneficial to us a town. It would also bring more visitors into the town as a safe place for there dogs to exercise wich in turn will bring extra trade to the town. So please if any one has ideas or suggestions please let me know. I would love to get this proposed or at least in the pipe line the more people that I get behind this the better chance of this happening.
