As I'm a joiner by trade I really love working with wood...and i hate it at the same time!🙈

I removed all the wooden nestboxes around the ponds last week as they were falling to pieces after just 6 years. Determined to come up with a longer lasting alternative... This is the result!
.Time will tell if they are successful!🙂

Was catching up fantails for a new home this evening and had to take a photo as it sat in the palm of my hand... white as snow.. You can see why they have been traditionally released at weddings...

(BTW the 2 being handrearing are now eating on there own and will be going into the aviary soon!)😊

The tragopans have laid really well this year and fertility has also been very good!... I've 2 spare eggs to post or collect tomorrow or ill only be too happy to put them into incubator!
