Our latest project - 'the cat tree forest' from initial concept to completion!

Standing at over 2 metres tall and featuring a hollow central tree with openings out onto leafy platforms all the way up, this forest is the ultimate cat playground.

Due to its size, we are delivering and installing this cat tree personally and we can't wait to see our customer's cats reactions!

"We have a large Ragdoll house cat Henry, and when we got him as a kitten, I wanted to find him a large sturdy scratching post. Over the years, with previous cats, I’ve bought many scratching posts/platforms, but they’ve never lasted long or the posts have never been used well, despite being pretty costly! After research and finding this great company, I discovered that cats need to be able to stretch fully to properly scratch. I looked at Scratchy cats review and products and wow! Superb design and great prices. Just the job. Fabulous products, great advice from hard working caring people, lovely to deal with. No request too much trouble. They always get back to you. Very reasonable prices, superb value. So many good things to rave about. One being the fact that when the sisal post or any other section is worn or you fancy a different fleece top, you simply order a new component and it’s delivered well packaged very quickly. Martin is so hard working and I doubt gets much time off! We recently wanted to adapt an old cupboard to a perching area for our Ragdoll. Many many emails and measurements later, Martin sorted how we’d fix it, spent ages making sure the location bolt holes would be right and even supplied the bolts at an amazingly reasonable cost. Thoroughly recommend these guys. We now have two areas for our lovely cat that match the new kitchen units .. my advice is, don’t waste your money on cheap junk, these are solid wood and last years. And your happy cat will scratch these posts and not your carpet. Perfect!"

Wow, we received this review of our original sisal post on our TrustPilot page today... Words like this definitely make all the hard work worthwhile!

I found ScratchyCats online around 2012, bought an extra large one, all posts are hand made with the best quality materials. My boy cat Lorca is really able to stretch up to the top of the post and takes no prisoners! He is really brutal with the post, the top of the post is just wide enough for him and his sister to sit on… not at the same time however! They are without doubt the best posts we have ever bought! I think they represent excellent value for money.

Seven years!!! after I bought my first post, I ordered a new one because some of the sisal had started to unravel, nothing major, but we went back to scratchy cats and bought another one - absolutely as before, just brilliant. Now I’m about to order my 3rd post 6 years later, because again due to my boy giving the post daily abuse at least 3-4 times a day! He is also an outdoor cat, my little girl is mostly indoors, but she loves a good scratch too! Lola sits on top of post to get away from her brother!

I was so delighted to find this company on line lots of new beautiful products. It’s still a husband and wife team only.

I love supporting British businesses and buying from scratchy supports that. They have survived such difficult times, including the pandemic. It really is a fantastic story. Anyway don’t even think twice about buying from this company, this will be post number 3 and so happy to be supporting this business again.

Today we actually got Martin out of the workshop to celebrate his birthday! This man works incredibly hard for our little family and has been working long hours seven days a week since we got into our new workshop to make our dream work.

Martin - Serenity and I really appreciate everything you do for us and we don't know where we would be without you. Hopefully when things settle down we will be able to have more days like these as after all, family is what it's all about ❤️
