While our team handles 95% of your pet's needs during these hours, we partner with a dedicated out-of-hours provider to ensure continuous, expert care when we are closed.
Using a dedicated out-of-hours service allows us to recruit an experienced team that are not compromised on sleep and well-being. In turn, this allows 95% of your care to be provided safely, enthusiastically and with superior attention to quality.
Using a dedicated out-of-hours also ensures that pets receive consistent overnight monitoring by a rested team and that they are seen quickly following their emergency call as the professional team stay on site ready to respond.
In contrast to waking a tired vet to meet you at the practice after a day's work, we strongly believe this approach provides a safer and higher level of care for your family. 🩺
We offer two locations for our clients (Exeter and Totnes), both just 20 mins from the practice, perhaps closer if you live nearer!

That's right, this beautiful lady is called Snacks! Novel, aye? 😝
She presented earlier in the week with a poorly foot and so came to see vet Katie to see if we could help. The culprit was the classic grass seed, which had fortunately at least made its own way out 🤕
We did open it up a little bit to ensure there was no other harmful residue in there, and to clean out the wound. Snacks was incredibly well behaved and did very well. As you can see she was very hungry once we were finished! 🥳
We saw her again today and she's recovered well, being back to her normal self 😁 well done Snacks! 🥰
