Hello! Rudi (Rudolph) here!

I am still waiting to find my forever 🏠! Everyone that has been to meet me, has said that I am just TOO BIG!

Apparently my size isn't well depicted in pictures, but perhaps these will show you how gorgeous my stripey coat is and just how adorable I am carrying my Dentastick! 🐾🏡

I hope to meet one one of you soon, and hopefully find my furever sofa. ❤

INTRODUCING .... Luigi
Breed: Terrier x (Medium sized approx 12kg)
Age: Unknown. Approximately 3-4 years
A bit about Luigi: Luigi is a sweet boy who has found himself lost (or abandoned) He's a shy boy, he needs time to warm to people. He's looking for a home with someone who has time for him so he can learn to trust again. He seems to enjoy his food especially hot dogs! Hes not shown much of his personality yet, he’s not shown any interest in playing with toys, maybe he’s never had them.
Does he like dogs: Luigi is fine with dogs. He can be a bit nervous around them. We think he would benefit from living with a calm dog who will show him how to dog.
Children and other animals: he would be fine living with another calm dog. We would recommend lots of dog introductions here at the kennels. Any children would need to be 10+

We have had a lurcher (possibly bull lurcher) handed into us by a member of the public. He is Black and white and has some grey around his muzzle. He was found in the Chudleigh area. If this is your dog or you know the owner please get in touch on 01803 872260 . He has no collar or tag, is microchipped but this hasn't been registered so we are unable to get any details.

The lovely Chandler who we rehomed a year ago this week, paid us a visit!

Chandler is living his best life, and is very spoilt as all dogs should be!

You may of had a bad start to life, but you sure do have the best one now!!

This is why we do what we do, the most rewarding job 🥰 🐶

We are very pleased to announce that we have a new dog groomer based at our kennels ready to give your pooches a well deserved pamper!

My name's Jordan, I moved from Bristol roughly 4 months ago where I've been dog grooming for 5 years. I wanted to branch off a bit from the craziness that city life can bring so I’m looking forward to finding out all about Devon life and meeting you and your wonderful dogs! Aprox. 1 year old Chihuahua
A bit about Stuffing: Stuffing is a sweet female Chi. She has found herself in kennels due to no fault of her own. She can be a little bit nervous when she first meets new people, if you are calm, she will soon trust you. She loves playing with all kinds of toys especially soft toys. We don’t think she’s every had any training or socialization, she doesn’t know how to walk on a lead and can be messy in the kennel overnight. Once she gets to know you, she will show you have playful and how excitable she can be. She likes to throw her font legs in the air with excitement.
Does She like dogs: Stuffing has come from a home with lots of other dogs (mainly chihuahuas) She got on fine with all of them.
Children and other animals: She could go to a home where any children are 8+- this is due to her needing a calm environment. She also previously lived with a cat although we are not sure if they got on or not. We think she could live with dogs and cats.

Approx 3 year old Chihuahua cross
A bit about Spud: Spud is a lovely male crossbreed (6kg). He has found himself in our care due to know fault of his own. We don’t think he’s every been trained or socialized. He hasn’t show us any commands. He hasn’t shown interest in any of the toys we have offered him, he might not have ever seen them before. He is quite a confident boy. He’s very calm and he enjoys sitting with human company and having a fuss made of him.
Does he like dogs: Spud seems fine with dogs, he has come from a home with a lot of other dogs, he would be better suited to dogs smaller than him or a similar size.
Children and other animals: He should be fine to live with young children around 5. He can be rehomed with dogs. We think he would prefer smaller dogs. He has previously lived with a cat.

6 month old Chihuahua
A bit about Swede: Swede is calm for a puppy. He can be nervous with new people. Once he comes out of his shell, he is very excitable and bouncy. Swede has found himself in our care through no fault of his own. Swede loves his food and he’s not fussy with any treats he is offered. He seems to enjoy playing with soft toys. We don’t think that he has been toilet trained or trained in general. He is more playful than cuddly.

Does he like dogs: Yes. swede has come from a home with many other dogs, and he seems to get on with all of them.
Children and other animals: He would be able to go to a home with children around 8 years old. He would be fine to live with dogs. He did previously live with a cat.

6 month old Chihuahua
A bit about squash: Squash is a sweet boy; he is very nervous of new people and will require lots of time to get used to you. He's a sensitive boy, he enjoys sitting with you and having cuddles rather than playing with other dogs and toys. He has found himself under our care due to no fault of him own. We don’t think he has had any socialization or training. He enjoys his food and treats with his favorite being tinned food.

Does he like dogs: squash has come from a household with a lot of other dogs, he gets on with all of them. We think sqash would benefit from living with another dog who can teach him the ways of the world.
Children and other animals: He should be fine to live with children 8+. He can be rehomed with dogs. He has previously lived with a cat.
