We're always trying to improve the care we give to our guests and to try to give their owners a little more confidence.

Grant is now qualified in Canine Behaviour and Training and is a full member of the International Society of Animal Professionals.

As the advert used to say "every little helps".

Meet two of our recent guests, Macy and Walter. They became great friends but unfortunately, Macy insisted on racing Walter all the time, he never did catch her 😢

All that racing around seemed to catch up on her as she spent a good deal of her holiday sleeping. Walter made up for missing out on the races by getting extra cuddles 🥰🥰🥰

Let’s hope we seen them both again soon.

Thank you all for the faith and confidence that everyone has shown in Jen and I, trusting us with your dogs.

Unfortunately we are now full for the rest of this year. We wish we had more capacity as we really don’t like turning away your pets, but the diary now has no spaces.

It continues to be our absolute pleasure to do this as our job.

Three of our regulars, Luna, Bella and Coco. Always a pleasure to have them stay. They may be little but they enjoy guarding the house and the garden, especially Luna who takes no prisoners.

All three are also expert cuddlers and they all know exactly where the treats are kept 🥰🥰🥰

Two of our latest guests, George and Freddie. Two of the sweetest, lovable dogs it would be your pleasure to meet.

Unfortunately, they missed their mum and dad so much, they had to sleep on (or sometimes in) the bed with Jen. That made them feel much safer.

It’s all about how you bring your dog up, not it’s breed.

Great day at the Canine First Aid course at Lyme and Woods Country Park. Thanks to everyone that organised it. Stanly was staying with us, he came along and was a great (and willing) patient.

Woody’s Holiday. He was absolutely brilliant, a real character. He spent a while with us and made loads of new friends, here and on the park. We even went to a barbecue with Buddie the Big Dog.

Hi, I’m Dixie and at my time of life I’ve decided to take things a bit slower. I’ve also decided it’s time I treated myself, so I booked a little break at No 35. I really like it here and the view from my room is amazing, cars, people and loads of dogs.

See, I know the owners, we go way back so I’m pretty sure most other dogs would like it here too.

The only problem is, my mum and dad. I do worry about them when I leave them alone and I’ve booked myself another holiday so I’ve asked Grant & Jen to get them to send loads of pictures of their holiday, that way it stops them fretting and keeps their mind off me.

Anyway, must sign off, those treats won’t eat themselves.

I’m Peggy and I’m one, it was my birthday last month. Being one means you don’t have to be afraid of anything because I’m grown up now.

Jenny and Grant were really surprised at how high I could jump, they thought because I’m small, I couldn’t get to the treats; Ha! Big mistake.

I liked it here, I’m coming back soon. We’ll have to see if the treats are in the same hiding place that they think I don’t know about 😏😏😏

I’m Woody, I’ve just had my very first sleepover here and I’m only just 2.

I don’t know if you realise but when you’re 2, things can be very scary, especially if your mum and dad can’t be with you. Aunty Jen and Uncle Grant were ok though, I think Uncle Grant thinks he’s a dog because he keeps playing games and rolling on the floor. Aunty Jen is kind with treats.

Think I don’t mind sleepovers!

So, so proud of this little man! Meet Loki. We visited him a few weeks ago and he didn’t like Grant coming into his house, so he barked and chased him out. He didn’t chase Jenny out.

His mum and dad have worked with us and after 5 familiarisation sessions, he was left at No.35 on Saturday for half an hour with just us. We did tricks, chased pigeons and had lots of treats.

What a brave boy he was, now he’s looking forward to his first sleepover.
