💜 ❤️ 🐴 The bond between horse and rider, soldier and steed - these teams lived and died together.

Remembering the fallen that wrote history and give us life as we know it.

REMEMBRANCE DAY

Horse shoes are still found, over 100 years later, by farmers and walkers in the area of fighting during WWI at Verdun in France.

During WWI more than 130,000 Australian horses were sent overseas to support Australia's war effort. The horse that was most favoured was a mixed breed known as a waler, because many had been bred in New South Wales.

To still be finding so many shoes today from the war horses, here hung on a farmers fence so many years after the event, is testament to the absolute carnage of this particular event.

😜 discipline and consistency

The most important thing in house building is a solid foundation.
Without that the house may be okay for a short while, but over time will become unstable and dangerous.
Same applies in our sport and teachings of it.
Without the solid basics, which most today want to avoid, you can maybe ‘survive’ for a while but the cracks in your riding ‘foundation’ will show up over time.
Consistency in riding and therefore results, come with work and discipline.

Training consistency, being trainable, LISTEN (to your horse and trainer) not making excuses, the blame game, horse management. (That should’ve come first!) also a huge SACRIFICE. (Not the ritualistic kind 🤦🏻‍♀️😂)

The ‘boring’ day to day stuff is the most important. Flat work (correct flatwork for jumping) studying the sport.
There’s so much on clip my horse and many other outlets to watch and learn.

Also;
“But they’re rich and can afford better horse” doesn’t cut it for us.
There’s always been rich and poor. You think the wealthy, successful riders don’t work at their sport?

We poor ones just had to possibly work harder. Some of the best in the world came from very normal backgrounds, BUT…….. they did all of the above.
Do you?

As Barney would say, “even a blind pig will find an acorn sometimes”

Aspire to be consistently better whatever level you ride. The rest will come.
If your trainer is hard on you, you’ve probably got a good one ❤️‍🩹

She is no jumper 🤪
138cms - But will toot round 50/60s if you give yourself time to perfect your skills. She is a beginner kids pony

£65 a week Includes 3-4 club days a week and 3 lessons - minimum 3 month commitment period please. 🙏 we pay all shoes vet dental and care fees

Shes done it all and is an easy all rounder. So get her while you can. 😍
