*All Club days below free for owners and loaners
** open to all £25, includes riding activities, bring lunch, dress for outdoors and 6+

1. Friday 27th December 10am-2pm Club Day
2. Saturday 28th December - hunters be at Yard to prepare for kids hunt (FULL)
3. Sunday 29th December 9am-1pm Club Day and lessons as Normal 🐴
4. Monday 30th December 10am -2pm Club Day

⭐️ NEW YEARS HOLIDAYS ⭐️ happy new year 🎉 .

5. Friday 3rd January 10-2pm Club Day
Can do Castleward trip if there is interest ⭐️⭐️

6. Saturday 4th January off site XC prebook (FULL)
7. Sunday 5th January Sunday club and lessons as Normal

Current available club loan for new term.

🐴 Billy Bog Kerry bog pony 11.2/3hh. Walk trot canter jump up to 40ish course. Good reliable pony to learn on. Has taught a few kids now who’s up on their own ponies. He is safe sensible predictable and in a good routine with lessons and kids.
Age of kid prob small 7-9 year old beginner
£55 a week
Includes - drop off pick up
Monday Club and lesson
Wednesday Club and lesson
Friday club
Sunday club and lesson.
We remain in charge of all bills and care relating to pony. We teach the kid to care for him the days they are with us. Supervised but encouraged independence 🧐

Before it gets busy I genuinely want to thank you all who make this happen.

Leasing ponies can be problematic- kelsie has learned the hard way the buck stops with her - but to the ones who get it. Stick with and pay their fees thank you. Because of you we can do this. We can make all this happen. Ponies aren’t free and not cheap and anyone who owns will tell you how precious their ponies routine is.

To balance a ponies needs is a science and as pony owners we become invested in no matter the costs giving them the best. Which is why lessons cost what they do and why loaning has club has a fee.

Horses is just an all in sport which we do our best to balance for those who can’t be all in. Filling in days life gets in the way or school work trumps ponies.
To say our year hasn’t been challenging would be a lie.

But it’s been full of ponies kids firsts laughs cry’s but most of all - pony love memories sport and friendships. We are very lucky to be part of something that our own community helped build 😍🥰

2024 Antics

⭐️ 12 foals (only 3 planned)
⭐️ 23 rescues (handled- broke - made manageable - rehabilitated - booked vet visit and rehomed) All funded by Kelsies lessons and operated on a loss of 50% but even mini cobs deserve good teeth feet and backs 😅

⭐️ 549 jockeys rode with us
⭐️ 49 different kids loaned with us
⭐️ 6 new liveries
⭐️ 13 private breakers
⭐️ 6 schooling ponies in
⭐️ 17 private sales of ponies to the best homes we could imagine.
⭐️ 10 new stables. (Plus 7 more in the next few weeks fingers crossed)
⭐️ 1 loss of a rescue 😭 which was sad sometimes we can’t fix things.
⭐️ our first broken bone 🦴 🙃
⭐️ 39 trips out and about in the lorry
⭐️ 2 surprise foals for next year 😅
⭐️ 9 different coaches
⭐️ 216 club days 😮
⭐️ 750 approx haylege bales 🥹

A few hairy moments our vets came to the rescue with and saved the day.

And Kelsie took the grand total of 9 days off this year 🤣🤣 5 of these days were at pony things.

…,, for all that work …. -£305 and a few nice ponies personal ponies that kelsie can play with. 😇 but the facilities just keep getting better and we now have a squad of kids ready to start their coaching journey with bhs and get some hours in 2025
What a team we have. Our Christine has a new hip and will hopefully be back in full swing soon

Roll on 2025 for some more proper pony antics 🥰

Sunday Club and Lessons as normal tomorrow!!!!!

Our wee club house shop is open from 12 midday 🕛 to 4pm.

Self serve tea and coffee potnoodles and cuppa soups 🤣 what more do yard kids need 🤣🤣
Honestly box 📦 there too.

If your kids are wanting to buy some wee Xmas presents 🎁 for their family send them along. We can gift wrap and all.

We will also be keeping a stock of some school pencil case essentials incase they are doing their homework at the yard 🤣

There is lots of gift ideas 💡 if you have any ideas of things to stock let us know.

🗃️ Don’t forget our swap box to for donations of horse gear or pick out any wee essential you need from it. 📦
