The Dog Marshall is a professional dog walking service based in Newtownards. I offer flexible walking hours to suit you and your dogs needs. This includes regular walking or one-off walks as and when required. Your dog will be collected and taken for an hours walk, then if necessary, dried off and returned home, happy, content and settled. I take the dogs to various locations to ensure dogs are ke

pt stimulated, and get to explore different surroundings. They also will meet and interact with other dogs, thus helping with socialisation skills. In addition I offer a pet visit & call-in service. This includes visiting, feeding, and cleaning after your pet. I am an experienced dog owner (and lover), and currently compete at dog agility with my own dog. I have also completed all the kennel club good citizen award schemes. Rain, hail or snow, the Marshall's on the go!!!

Just before Christmas, I received the sad and shocking news that handsome boy Alfie had sadly passed away 💔
My heartfelt condolences to Hilary, I know how heartbroken you are, and see how much you miss him 😭

Alfie joined the posse in August 2021 and was out every week with his chums. Although he was never keen on travelling, he always met me with excitement and enthusiasm 😀 Initially he would have been happy in his own company, keeping to himself, but gradually he started to interact and run along with his new found friends.
He loved a good run, and lots of sniffs, not to mention treats!! At the first hint of my hand reaching for the treat bag, Alfie would appear and sit to attention directly in front of me 🤣

Our last walk together was November, but I always hoped that once you adjusted to your new way of life that you'd be back out. Cruelly, your illness didn't allow 😪

Another heartbreaking post 💔 Beautiful boy Rudy very sadly passed away this week 😭 Rudy, and his brother Bear, joined the posse way back in January 2018 and quickly became firm regulars. This boy was full of character and personality, always giving me lots of laughs on our outings. He had the most amazing big blue eyes, and knew just how to gaze adorably at me to coax an extra treat or two 😅 I'm forever grateful to your family for entrusting you to me, and allowing me to spend so many happy times with you. And especially for the opportunity to come visit, and say my goodbyes, when walks became too much for you 😪 My sincerest sympathies to Michelle, Frankie and the girls, you went above and beyond for both your boys - heartbroken for you all, absolutely devastating to lose Rudy this year too 💔 Thank you for the memories Rudy, I'm sure you and Bear are making mischief and having lots of fun together again. Sleep tight you stunning boy 💖
