Kathryn is also a pre-registered candidate of the Fellowship of Animal Behaviour Clinicians and a provisional member of the APBC (Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors) and is currently working towards CCAB (Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist) certification which is the highest standard of clinical certification in the UK administered by the Accreditation Committee of ASAB (Association for the Study of Animal Behaviour).
Certification constitutes recognition by ASAB that the behaviourist meets the educational, experiential, and ethical standards required by the society, and that by consulting with a CCAB clients can be assured that the behaviourist is suitably qualified, has experience of treating behaviour problems, and adheres to a code of conduct. Having attained the necessary academic education, Kathryn is pre-certified and is currently working towards full CCAB (Certified Clinical Animal Behaviourist) certification which she hopes to attain in 2020.
