After weeks of stress, practicing & revising I can finally say that today I took my dog grooming exam with International Certified Master Groomers UK (ICMG) to become a Certified Professional Groomer and I PASSED 🍾🥂❤️ I can proudly say I am now recognised as a member of the International Pet Grooming Association and I couldn’t be happier!

Quick update too - I have had quite a lot of messages regarding appointments, my salon is very nearly complete so once I have a completion date in the next week or so I will be taking bookings from then onwards. Keep your eyes peeled and thank you for all of your support so far 🤎🛁🐶

Temperature Regulation 🌡️

While it’s nice to keep your pet looking good, are you also aware that regular grooming helps your dog regulate their temperature? Not only does excess fur make it harder for them to cool down, but also any mats in their fur makes regulation much more difficult!

I just wanted to come on here and update everyone - I have had a few messages about booking your pups in for grooms however I have not yet got my salon ready so I won’t be taking bookings until that is complete in the new year. I will however be advertising for some free grooms throughout January whilst I’m still training, so keep an eye out - these will be very limited!

‘Dapper Dogs’ 🐾

I’m so excited to announce that I am starting up my own little dog grooming business. This is something I have been thinking about for a while now and I’ve finally decided to take the plunge and go for it, which I am so grateful that I’m able to do. I am currently training and will be advertising for free dog grooms in the next few weeks until I am fully qualified.
