So it looks like there's another couple of dogs running scared in Porthcawl again tonight ! 🐕🐾😫
This is so distressing for everyone concerned 😟

Just a heads up for anyone living close to the HI-TIDE, Porthcawl.....the free firework season is about to start again.
Please take care of your pets 🐕🐈😁

CHECK YOUR CHIP!....this is a post from HOPE RESCUE (our local dogs home, where missing dogs go if found).........

We took in a total of 40 stray dogs in during February through our stray dog contracts for Rhondda Cynon Taf CBC, Bridgend CBC and Vale of Glamorgan Council (West). Shockingly, only 7 dogs were microchipped with up to date ownership details. 15 were microchipped but the details were not up to date, or the microchip was not registered. 18 were not microchipped at all.

Please, ensure you check that your dogs microchip details are up to date. This can be done on-line for most chip companies.Your vet can scan for you if you do not have the chip number or details of the chip company. There is no excuse for any dog not to be microchipped as it is now a legal requirement. Sadly we get a lot of abuse both on-line and in person from owners reclaiming their dogs and not being happy with the costs. If the dog warden cannot get hold of you due to your dog not being chipped or the details being out of date that is your fault, not ours. Please also remember it is the law for your dog to wear a collar and tag when out. This is the quickest and easiest way for your dog to be reunited if it goes missing.

Dog Ice Cream 🍦🐾
Ingredients:
2 ripe bananas
1 cup plain Greek yogurt
1/2 cup peanut butter (unsweetened and xylitol-free)
1/4 cup water
Instructions:
In a blender or food processor, combine bananas, Greek yogurt, peanut butter, and water.
Blend until smooth and creamy.
Pour the mixture into ice cube trays or silicone molds.
Freeze for at least 2 hours or until solid.
Pop out the ice cream cubes and serve to your dog as a treat.
Notes:
Ensure the peanut butter is free of xylitol, as it is toxic to dogs.
You can substitute Greek yogurt with a dairy-free yogurt if your dog is lactose intolerant.
Prep Time: 10 mins | Freezing Time: 2 hrs | Total Time: 2 hrs 10 mins | Servings: 12-15 treats
