Snow has melted off the roads well this morning so all should be good for getting to the park.
There’s still snow in the enclosures which is wet, slushy and slippery on slopes so please take care and wear good grip, waterproof shoes.
Remember theres our grit boxes at each of our bridges so please use if needed and make sure the lid is back on securely.
Let the snow day commence and bring forth the photos and videos of snow dogs 🐶
This is Maisey coming to work with us this morning, not sure if she knew finding a broken toy was helpful but hey, work hard, play hard!
We had some budding agility competitors use Mac's Meadow for the first time last week. They had a great time putting their pup through its paces on our equipment and even the more senior doggo decided to see how difficult it was!!!
Delighted they all had such a good time and sent us these videos I'm sure we shall see them competing at Crufts and the Olympics in a few years 🏆🥇
Bring your kids to work day today lol.
The Dog loves chasing the sledge so brilliant exercise for all. 🛷🐕🐾
Snowing at WaggTail whoop whoop!
We are clearing out road and salting/sanding it as well as the ramp in Betsy’s.
Wrap up warm and remember we have put salt in boxes at each bridge in Tanya’s Trail to use.
High Winds and gates
We have now managed to fit the proper tongues to our gate latches. This prevents the pins wiggling out with the wind shaking the gate and opening them.
Please ensure the pin is all the way through the catch hole to allow the tongue to drop behind.
We have also secured up catch posts for entering/ exiting gates. When opening gates push them all the way open and past the post on the opposite side, slide the pin out to lock position and the pin will hold the post open by resting on catch post whilst you drive through.
Take care when opening gates as they can swing when caught by a gust.
Great day in the snow by regular and new pooches.
Poppy and Ruby 3mth old pups had their first trip to WaggTail today and loved it. Sleeping sound now.
Hopfully the snow will stay for tomorrow's sessions. Thanks for your patience with us clearing the snow from the road today.
Adjusting height of hoop jump.
