Let's try to make a safer, cleaner, greener countryside for all to enjoy by contributing to the NFU Online's petition to ban sky lanterns.

The threat posed by sky lanterns is greater during the summer months. As the weather becomes warmer and drier, the risk of wildfire increases. With more animals living out in the fields the risk of eating fallen lanterns, potentially leading to injury and even death increases.🔥

Click the link below to sign the petition.

I've signed a petition showing my support for a total ban of sky lanterns in England and Wales.

Happy !

After all these long weeks it's great to see them outside again.

But, let's also take a moment to think about all those poultry keepers who have been affected by Avian Influenza. This has been an incredibly tough year and many poultry businesses and keepers have been badly affected.

Let us also take a moment to thank the vets across the country who have supported the management of the outbreak, these have included many XLVets member vets, in independent veterinary practices across the UK.

Thanks guys! 🙌
