Based in North Cumbria, we are part of a 3 centre multidisciplinary independent practice, with 16 farm vets including multiple certificate and diploma holders.

We have a strong dairy client base, as well as servicing progressive beef and sheep farms. We are a friendly and supportive team, with a low staff turnover, and promote a good work-life balance.

We provide a high standard of service to our clients through proactive health planning and utilisation of all the usual tools/software, plus abdominal laparoscopic surgery, VetTech services, farmer training, an advanced breeding department and overseas farm consultancy.

We are looking for somebody who enjoys working independently and to a high standard in all weathers. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 months livestock handling experience, a full driver's license and either 3 GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in Mathematics, English and in a Science or Food Production OR 3 years performance in a government regulatory role e.g., Local Authority (LA) Inspector or Environmental Health Officer.
