Our regular clients will have noticed the builders have been busy working hard this year building our lovely not one but two extensions. The building work is now complete and we are all very excited to show you the new extension🐾✨
These exciting developments will bring a whole host of new facilities and services including two new consulting rooms, specialised isolation facilities, a CT Scanner and an extension into our kennel ward. We are so excited about these changes and the benefits they will bring to our clients and patients 🐾

WE ARE HIRING 🩺🏩
We are looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to work at our purpose-built small animal hospital in North Walsham, Norfolk🏩 We pride ourselves on being supportive and offering real potential to grow and learn. We have a mixture of youth and experience within our 20 Vet Team. Some vets who are working towards or have attained certificates in Surgery, Medicine, Anaesthesia, Imaging and Veterinary Education🏩🩺
We offer:
4 day week with shared Saturday mornings (currently 1 in 5)
Mixture of shift: Usually one 8am-4pm, two x 8am- 5.00pm and one 9.30am-6.30pm. This amounts to a short total working week, but we have found it helps to avoid burnout and allow a genuinely good work life balance🩺
£3000 and 3 days CPD contractually, but in reality, we do not limit it💻

🥳5 weeks holiday, plus bank holidays and birthdays
🩺Professional memberships paid
🩺Private Healthcare
💸Pension contributions
💸£750 towards treatment of your own animals and all meds at cost
🤰🏻Maternity is 10 weeks full pay.
The OOHs rota is currently a 1 in 20 with time off after night shifts. Effectively this gives the best of both worlds- exposure to interesting cases, on a very forgiving rota and additional time off in the days as well. For OOH, a vet and a nurse are onsite🏩 The OOH rota comprises of the weekday OOH rota which is Monday to Thursday nights only from 6.30pm to 8am and case handover 8-8.30am. The weekend rota is Friday night to Sunday night 6pm to 8am with the Friday day off and the Monday after off. Also there is a day vet for OOH on Saturday 12.30-6pm and Sunday 8am-6pm with a day in lieu during the week.
Salary is £35,000- 65,000 DOE
