Meet Peggy - a superstar patient who celebrated her 15th birthday recently! Peggy had a stay with us recently when her owners noticed she was feeling under the weather. Her owners had these lovely words to share "I wanted to thank you all for looking after Peggy on her stay with you, without your intervention I believe she would have died.
I am delighted to say that she has finished all her meds and has made a full recovered for which we are truly grateful. We understand how difficult it can be to choose a veterinary practice to care for your loved family members. We are proud to be a fully independent single site veterinary practice. Our state of the art equipment and experienced skilled veterinary team means we are big enough to be able to care for complex and routine cases on site 24/7 whilst our single site family team means we are still small enough to know and care for all our clients and patients personally. We all know how worrying it is when our pets develop a lump. Traditionally, in order to know whether these lumps are cancerous or not then we have had to take samples with a needle and send them to a pathologist for a diagnosis. This gives excellent results but incurs a time delay which is always a worrying time for pet owners. At Toll Barn Vets we have invested in state of the art technology which allows us to use an extremely high powered scanning microscope to digitise these samples and send them to a pathologist rather than relying on traditional postal and reporting services. Why is this important? It vastly reduces the time delay in results meaning patients receive quicker diagnosis and treatment and owners have less time to worry. Depending on the type of lump sampled these results can be back in as little as 2 - 48 hours. The additional bonus - our commitment to offering the best care for our patients means we are able to offer this fantastic technology at a reduced cost compared to sending these samples to external laboratories :D To find out more give us a call on 01692 407126

We are an independent family run practice located in North Walsham, Norfolk. Our surgery was purpose built to ensure we can provide the highest standard of care for pets and exotic animals since opening in 2014. We are proud to have been accredited Gold standard Rabbit and Feline friendly and provide our own 24/7 on site emergency service for clients to ensure you always have access to a familiar face with your pets records at hand during these stressful times. Our extensive facilities include separate cat, dog and exotic pet waiting areas and hospital wards, a laser therapy unit, onsite CT scanner, digital xray, ultrasound, blood pressure, ECG and tonometry, an in house laboratory, dedicated operating theatres, a luxury pet hotel and memory garden. Our Very Important Pet Clubs also offer the chance to save money and budget for routine pet care including vaccinations and flea and worming treatment as well as receiving additional discounts on other products and services. We believe in offering the best level of care possible and offer free of charge clinics with our qualified veterinary nurses to ensure your pet remains in tip top condition including parasite prevention clinics, socialisation clinics, new pet checks and much more! We understand that choosing a vet is a big decision and are always happy to provide a guided tour of the surgery and a chance to meet the team before you register your pet.
