Yesterday I had to make the hardest decision ever, to say goodbye to my gorgeous angel 🐾
There is a paw print shaped hole in my heart. I couldn't have wished to love a better dog for over 12 and a half years and we will all miss him beyond measure and I know all my customers will too, as he was such a big part of the salon.

I can't believe I forgot yesterday that it was 8 years since I first opened in Bacton. I am now in my 3rd premises and it will definitely be the last, we love it here 💜

Today's the day!! It has been a lot of work and the new place is still not perfect but I am ready to groom 🎉

Happy weekend to all my customers. Just letting you know that Happy Paws is on the move, but don't worry we're not going far. We are moving to North Walsham Garden Centre, I know a lot of you will be happy that you can park outside without having to fight for a space. We can't wait to get moved in. It will be the middle of next month but will let you all know nearer the time what the actual date will be 🐾

Just a reminder to everyone that rawhide is awful stuff and really not safe for your fur-babies. It can cause a number of health issues including blocking their digestive system. In my opinion it shouldn't be allowed to be sold, please don't buy this terrible stuff when there are so many much better treats out there which are safe and natural 🐾

If you are in and around Bacton Woods today please keep an eye out for this boy. He went missing yesterday and he hasn't been found yet. I believe he had a muzzle on. Praying he makes it home safe 🙏

**Notice to all customers**

As from today Market Street is closed off to cars for 8 weeks, whilst the works are carried out in the town. So those customers who usually drop off outside won't be able to. The closest free parking is a 30 minute bay located on Aylsham road as well as the usual car parks around town.

I am sure I don't need to remind you all that walking your dog's during the day when it is as hot as it has been and going to be is very dangerous for your dog but I have seen so many people doing it 😩. Just a gentle word of caution if you are not able to walk them early or late when it's cooler you're best not to walk them at all, it certainly will be less harmful to miss a walk than to walk in the heat. Take care all and remember to keep yourself and your fur-babies hydrated 💦🐾

I was wondering the other day which dog I have been grooming the longest. This is Poppy who had her first groom with me on the 2nd day I opened. It was such a big transformation as you can see in the before and after I used her photos in an article in the crab tales 😁 The last picture is her after her groom today at 14 years old 🥰

This is a common conversation in the salon and a bug bear of many, including me. If you see someone with a dog on a lead be courteous and do the same, you have no idea why that dog is on a lead.
