Took my little girl Roni (Veronica) to her new groomer Tora (Owner) at ‘Sinclairs Dog Salon and Spa’ in the High Street in Stalham today. A very professional and thorough consultation for a full groom and a great result, so many thanks. Roni looks and feels lovely, silky soft and while there she made friends with Tora’s rescue dog, a very beautiful and sweet, young rescued Cane Corso. I’ve never given a recommendation before but if you are finding it hard to get an appointment in North Walsham, then contact Tora. Her salon is large, light and airy, plenty of free nearby parking and lots of shops, cafes and the Swan Hotel and Pub to visit while you wait. A perfectly lovely afternoon out☺️.

Great walk with Archie and Dotty today at Felmingham Heath, also known as Bryant’s Heath. A great place to walk dogs, a SSSI. Archie is new to England and Norfolk and getting used to all the new smells and sights❤️ The volunteers have been busy cutting back and burning the gorse which grows so quickly and engulfs the natural flora. Lots of wildlife here.

Me in 1976 in my flat in London with my beloved first dog Spike, I was 22! He was a pup of the resident dog at the Roundhouse in Camden Town, I got him at 8 weeks and he lived till he was 16, such a character, we spent hours and hours over Hampstead Heath and he loved the Highgate ponds, lots of sticks thrown there for him to swim out to catch. We had so very many adventures together there and later in Norfolk and I will never forget him, he gave me so much love and will always be my special boy❤️

The business of balls is a very serious business indeed…..temper tantrums, snarky comments, sneaky nips, Buz has the right idea - got MY ball and keeping well away from you lot!

Post dinner crash…..at last some peace and quiet….they all stalk me for a good hour beforehand🙄🙏

Our morning walk in the woods couldn’t have been more gorgeous ☺️

Look what I saw on my morning walk with my crew in Bacton Woods! So pretty, a Fritillary but which one, seem to be three. I think they are Silver Washed Fritillary ☺️

Got Mac a different new ball to keep him amused and busy. He is such a big, strong , fast and powerful dog when running after a Chuck It ball he often damages the skin on his feet. Being a LabXGreyhound he seems to have the thin skin of a Greyhound which tears easily and takes a good while to heal, hence looking for new ways to keep him happy and active yet safe ☺️
