pretty Bels after her groom again the other day (almost caught up, promise…) 🤍🫧
Bella gets a short and easy kept show cuts and always looks super smart afterwards🤍 she’s an angel on the table aswel as off and gets every ounce of princess treatment i have to offer 👑 she loves a little pamper but does get a bit grumpy towards the end of the groom and definitly uses the slack neck noose to her advantage, lying down every chance she gets 😂🩷 tiring work being a princess isn’t it bells 👸
shes in for a bath and blowdry in a couple weeks to maintain her healthy coat so we can keep up with her looking super smart and cute🩷

Beautiful Ellie before and after her groom the other day🤍as a groomer, i will always chose your dogs welfare over vanity 🩷 Ellie, as you can see in some of the pics, was very badly matted and i made the call to shave her down rather than put her through the pain of de-matting, due to the severity of the matts, de-matting wasn’t really an option and i simply put Ellie’s needs above everything else 🫶 Throughout the groom i made sure to give Ellie lots of breaks and cuddles and she was an absolute angel😇 especially considering how uncomfortable of an experience it can be, i did however do my best to make it as easy as possible for her and she left soo happy with a little spring in her step🩷
Although it’s not the outcome we were hoping for, She still rocks a baldie and looks suuper cute i managed to keep some hair on the top of her head and her lovely long lashes too so she still has some of her Ellie character 🤍 Don’t get used to it though as this won’t be happening again🤍 Ellie’s booked in again soon and will be having more frequent apointments from now on and she won’t get into this state again🩷

Gorgeous gorgeous Teddy in after Other Teddy westie the other day🤍🫧 it wasn’t as confusing as you might think promise… 😂 Teddy was in daycare all day and quite enjoyed his grooming break by the seems of things, he was soo comfortable with me this time around were starting to build a nice bond which is always good to see🩷 He really didn’t like the drier so as you might be able to tell his ears were still a little bit wet on the outside, i clipped his inner ear leather to prevent them holding the moisture and causing problems, apart from the drier he was perfect🤍

Handsome Teddy before and after his groom the other day🤍🫧 It wasn’t sooo long since Teddys last cut so there wasn’t as much to take off this time🤍 We went a little bit longer than last time with a reverse 6 comb guard, he looked sooo fluffy afterwards i’ll definitely remember it for next time as itl be a nice length for autumn/winter while still looking really smart and cute🤍he was really well behaved as per hes such a sweetie to have on the table, 🤍Ill see you soon Teddy bear 🤍###

Beautiful Kissy after her Bath blowdry deshed and little tidy up🤍🫧 Kissy was sooo so nervous for her groom, its always been something she’s hated, however her mum messaged me asking if we could try her out as she had some hairy stinky paw pads and since she knows me from daycare we were keen to see if it made a difrence in her experience 🤍🫧
I did all of kissy on the floor rather than on my table as she was a little shakey and unsure of the table but her being on the floor seemed to put her at ease a little bit🤍As you can see her face is still wet, she was very scared of the blaster round her head so the best thing was to leave it to air dry, i also did everything before her bath rather than after which isn’t something i usually do, i wanted to crack on with the bits i knew she wouldn’t like before she got too worked up and she was AMAZING once we had established some trust she just let me do my thing and we even got her nails clipped which is not something she usually allows, for me she just stood and let me do it🩷 she really wa such a star and her mum was sooo pleased that we got everything done that she wanted plus a little more and she walked out happy as larry🤍

Mr Toby Tobes looking dashinggg after his haircut last week (sorry i’ve been really behind with my posting, i’m back on it now🤍) He was nowhere near as nervous as last time and he loved his groom🩷 we had some snuggles and played a little bit afterwards and then he had some fun in daycare while we waited for his mama🤍 we even got tobys little brothers’ approval 🫶
There was no accidents on or off the table this time around (always a bonus) and he looked soo handsome afterwards, i kept his eyelashes as they keep his Toby charm, everywhere else came off short though, he just is so smart now🤍

🍑The beautiful Peaches back again last week for her tidy up🤍🫧🍑
She was soo sleepy and cute during her groom but was very very well behaved as per 🩷 Last time she had her support giraffe teddy bear and this time it was her support bee teddy, i love having her and her little teddies in the salon with me, shes always a pleasure 🩷
We went nice and short as she gets alll stinky and wet on her walks so it’s a nice maneagable length for her and her family🤍
No more stinky cuddles from peaches, she’s squeaky clean now!

Sweet little Waffle in for his first haircut with me the other day🤍🫧He was a little nervous at first but after a couple of cuddles and some trust gained he settled in nicely and loved his groom🩷 he stood like such a good boy, he must of felt 10 pounds lighter at the end, who knew such a small dog could have so much hair!😂 he’s such a little character and was such a pleasure to have on my table 🩷 His mama likes his topknot left long so i didn’t take too much off just enough so he could see and didn’t look like he had a massive head😂
But he looked soo handsome and now you can see his gorgeous eyes 🩷 i’m sure he feels loads better too🤍🫧

Louie Louie looking handsome as ever after his groom today🩷He was a really good boy again, being grumpy about his feet seems to be a thing of the past now he doesn’t get those horrible matts in his paws anymore🤍it’s amazing what regular grooming can do to their behaviour while on the table, with louie it was because of the matts hurting him, so now he doesn’t have that stress on, he an angel😇🩷
i didn’t get loads of after pics as i ran abit behind and my next client was at the door🙈 but he was very happy with himself walking out and is all booked in for his next appointment 🩷

Pretty little Tilly back for her groom yesterday🩷 She had a nice bath and blowdry followed by a full body clip, she was a little funny about her feet this time round which wasn’t the case last time so we’re going to keep an eye on that😢 i told her mama incase it was something to be aware of but most likely she was just not in the mood for a groom 😂🩷She’s such a cutie, and is a really good girl on the table, her mum likes her nice and short and requested slightly more off round her face so you can see her beautiful face even better🫧🤍 we were both tired by the end but it was worth it for the zoomies she got once i picked up her harness to let her know mama was on her way(last pic)🤍🫧

Gorgeous gorgeous girl Evie came in for her bath and Tidy up the other day, and what a tidy up it was!🫧🤍Considering a spaniel cut doesn’t usually involve a shave, look at all the hair that came off just her feathers feet ears and tail(last pic)🤯 She had some matts in her ears that needed taking out and then those grinch toes to take care of 😅 She looked miles better when she was all finished and de grinched 😂she was such a lovely little girl, was a little bit funny about her back left leg and pad so i had a little look incase a grass seed or something similar was bothering her but i couldn’t see anything so i just let her owner know to keep an eye on it🩷She looked so cute when she was finished and was a right little poser for the pictures😂🩷

Another reason why it’s soo important to be booking your pups in for regular grooms🤍🫧 this kind of discomfort for your dogs is soo avoidable as any good groomer will pluck any ears that need it 🤍Big clumps of hair like this will stay damp and cause bacterial and yeast infections over time aswel as causing pain and hearing problems, it’s always always best to get it removed!
(in this scenario i think the dog is sedated at the vets as it would be much too painfull for the poor pup to be awake for this removal, this is what we’re avoiding with regular plucking sessions🤍)

I’m Very proud of little Albie today🩷He did an absolutely amazing job of staying calm even though he was soo nervous🤍You might remember him from last time, i certainly do… 😂But he was an angel i am so so proud of him🤍The before picture isn’t really a before as it was after the bath and his back was allready clipped 🙈but i just wanted to crack on as the more time i spent pre groom, the more i was worried he was going to work himself up, i did his paw pads on the floor the seccond we got into the salon as that was the main struggle last time, he had no nasty matts to contend with and sat very well while i did them, he didn’t even have time to register what was going on it was over and done with so quickly😂🩷he then had a bath and blowdry and i just cracked straight on forgetting about pictures😬 but i managed one from the front, it gives you an idea of how hairy he was🙈😂 I went slow and carefull with his legs and feet still as he wasn’t a fan but i think he remembers the last time he was in and i had to get some really nasty matts out that were hurting his poor little feet, even though there was none this time i think he just asociated the experience with last times, hopefully as we continue and he realises ill never let his feet get like that and he will never have to experience that again, he may grow to enjoy his grooms 🩷 Today was definitly a huuuge step in the right direction i cannot put into words how proud of him i am because there was times i could tell he was wanting to kick off but he didn’t once🩷 His nails were the biggest challenge but even then absolutely nothing comparing🤍 we went really slow, i did keep lying to him telling him one more after every nail 😂 by the seccond foot he’d cottoned on but we got there eventually🩷

Smiley little Bobbie pre and post pawdicure🤍🫧(how cute is he showing it off in the pictures🥺)
He was such a good boy, he’s only young and does so well on the table🤍 He gets very warm at the moment so the groom was based round ways of keeping him cool as it’s so warm at the moment. since dogs regulate a lot of there heat through theire paws i shaved out his paw pads and inbetween his toes, being able to feel the air again must feel so nice for him🤍 He had a nice hygiene trim and air is getting to all the right places again 😂🤍As requested i took his feathers off to help keep him cleaner and shaved the insides of his ears and trimmed down the edges as its soo common in spaniels (especially ones that love water like bobbie) to get all horrible dermatitis around the ear leather from damp thick hair not drying properly, which is so itchy and uncomfortable for the dogs aswel as being abit stinky🫣 Lucky for bobby hes only little and we’re going to make sure he never has to experience such nasties 🤍
Once he was done he went to play in daycare and launched himself straight in the pool much o his delight and my dismay😂 but unfortunately for him i had some extra time on my hands so once i knew his mama was on her way, he was back in the bath, re shampooed and then blasted dry and some more perfume on, he got the best of both worlds and still managed to go home smelling lovely and looking clean again😂

Cutie pie Bailey before and after his groom today, he was my first groom back after my holiday and what a way to start back🫶 He was a little bit of a challenge, we started strong but cracks turned to canyons when we got to his feet 🥲 he was just scared though he had big matts in his paw pads that were clearly causing him lots of discomfort and he didn’t understand what was happening, all he knew was that it wasn’t nice😥 instead of using clippers, scissors were the better option as there’s no vibration and in this case it was much quicker so over sooner for him🩷We went slowly when it came to his nails too and with lots of reasurance throughout we had the desired end result and a happy pup at the end 🤍
Well done Bailey, we will continue to work on your confidence and build some trust together🩷

this is beautiful Ruby the tibetan terrier before and after her groom the other day🤍🫧 Ruby was a little nervous at first but once she got to know me a little bit, she really came out her shell and became the crazy girl she really is🫶She stood really well for me and only wiggled when she needed to 😂🤍She had some matting round her ears and head and then also unfortunately her tail too😫 so she’s rocking a little piglet tail now 😭 don’t worry though itl grow back! She got a cute little doggy bob out of getting her ears sorted too which is nice! she had matting all the way down her ear ca**ls too which no groomer before had been able to get out so it was really uncomfortable for her😕 lucky for ruby, i have magic hands and was able to get it all so she can hear again! She will be so much more comfy now she’s all matt free and a couple of pounds of hair lighter😂

The most wiggly worm in the garden this one🩷 Handsome Loxley came in for a handstrip and tidy up, i struggled to get any pictures where he wasn’t spinning or jumping or dancing😂 he was a little bit of a chalange but definitly my fave kind 🩷We had such a fun morning together, another lucky boy trialing my new shampoos and sprays , again he smelled amazing. Sometimes it is hard to do a wiggly dog but loxley has such a charm about him, i genuinely enjoyed every seccond of it we had such a nice time together🩷 We did both have a bath at the begining😂 but idk what i was expecting he was so excited he just wanted to share the experience with me i supose🩷😂
i managed to get his feet nice and clean his ears and feathers trimmed nicely and his back handstripped, he looked so handsome and his beautiful red coat was soo shiny, he looked soo smart🩷

Can’t resist this cutie, Teddys back again for his maintenance cut🩷🫧 Teddy has such a lovely thick coat but for the summer it’s nice to keep it short and manageable, especially with all the wet grass round at the moment making our pooches a little bit stinkier than usual🥺, we went nice and short and he got to try out my new shampoos and sprays in the process! definitly my new faves, they smell amazing and now so does Teddy🩷
He was very well behaved as usual, little bit wiggly but nothing we can’t work round🩷 he’s such a happy little lad and i’m so pleased that he continues to come to me, i love having him🤍🫧 i did find a grass seed in his tail:( but luckily it was just in the fur and i removed it before it could weasle its way into our little teddy boy🤍

This is one of my clients paws post surgery for a grass seed removal after he got some embedded in his paw 😥 Just wanted to use this poor baby as a reminder to everyone to check our pups after every walk if possible, most common areas to find them are in the paws, underarms and groin areas but ears, eyes and nose are also vulnerable places(just everywhere really) lots of people don’t know about them and if they do, don’t realise how horrible they really are but they can cause some serious damage🥺 they migrate once they’ve entered your dogs body and can end up anywhere, causing some pretty big complications if not found and treated asap😥 in the salon i always make sure to check and get rid of any grass seeds i find which is another reason getting your doggos groomed is soo important , the best thing for this time of year is clean feet and cleared out pads to eliminate any hair that could be hiding and housing the seeds. Saying that if you find one that’s embedded itself don’t try and remove it yourself self as it may cause more harm than good, just get in contact with your vets and get them removed by a professional if your not sure.🩷But yeah, hopefully this helps even just one doggo with a grass seed just waiting to cause a problem and prevents a nasty trip to the vet🩷
If you’ve had any problems with grass seeds, feel free to share the story as they’re so much more common than you’d think!
And for the dogs, remember to stay safe if you’re going to be running round in the grass guys, run and bounce responsibly!

Today i met Fortunate Son Coffee gorgeous little fury barista, Arthur🤍🫧 The sweetest little dude inside and out🩷
Arthur came in for a nice tidy up and a tidy up he got! he had a couple of little tats to get rid of and some grass seeds in his feet!
So i took his feet nice and short to prevent more tats and make it easier to spot any nasty grass seeds before it’s too late!
He was such a sweetheart the whole groom, and even spent some time in daycare for the first time in a long time! we loved having him back🤍 I took lots of the bulk out of his coat leaving him looking nice and tidy and feeling waaay lighter and cooler for the summer we are yet to see🥲 and then at the end of his groom he had a nice little play with my once decorative lamb toy (idk what i was thinking, obviously the doggies are going to want to play with it😅) and had some treats and cuddles too🤍
We had such a nice day together, hopefully one of many🩷

🤍🧁The birthday girl!🧁🤍
My girl Tiffy had a big run round on the sports field for some pre birthday fun last night but got all smelly and wet so she had a pre birthday bath and blowdry too🤍 probably won’t be her fave present but she smells and looks gorgeous now, she had her a**l glands doing followed by a nice double shampoo with my whitening shampoo, a nice blowdry, a quick paw pad trim and a nail trim finished off with some nose and paw balm and a spritz of birthday perfume🤍 She’s the big 8 today 🥺and spending it at home playing with her new unicorn toy and a yellow squeaky monster from the boyfriend🤍

Beautiful Bella back again for her pre holiday pamper☀️🩷She came in for her full groom a couple weeks ago and we booked her back in for another tidy up before she went away , but since her coat is growing out so nicely she didn’t really need it, so she just had a nice bath and blowout so she smells all lovely for going away with her family🤍She’d been practicing her swimming in the pool in daycare before hand so she was tired out, luckily it didn’t take very long, she had a conditioner aswel as my black enhancing shampoo to give her a nice soft feel and detangle any knots in her fur(there wasn’t really any which was good) she then had a brush out, a spritz of perfume and finaly some paw and nose balm🤍 All ready for her week away, have a great time Bella, we will miss you at daycare!🩷🥺

Beautiful Benji the lhasa before and after his groom yesterday🤍🫧 His first groom with me and he was such a lovely calm fella🩷 Benji likes his body short all over in the summer and his head left long with character, he had all that hair taken out round his mouth though🤍 he will feel loads better without soggy hair in and round his mouth ☺️ He was a little angel throughout and such a cutie pie🥺 just look at those pictures of him in the bath, what a gorgeous boy🩷

Beautiful Penny the retriever before and after her bath blowdry and tidy up the other day🤍🫧 She had a lovely time in the pool in daycare before she came in for her pamper so she’s a little wet in her before pics, We like to call her party girl penny at daycare because she’s such a bundle of fun, even though she’s so wiggly 99% of the time, while she was on the table she was soooo good, just stood nicely for me🩷
she had a couple of matts to take care of which again she patiently stood and sat to let me get them out, she felt so much better after the ones behind her ears were gone🩷
Retrievers always make me laugh, they pull the funniest faces, i managed to get a couple of good ones from Penny pie when we were finished😂 She had a little tidy up of her wild feathers and is water ready once again🩷

The very Cute little Ernie in for his first ever groom the other day🤍🫧 He’s only 6 months and he did really struggle (as did i😂) i think it was mabye just a lot all at once for him, he ended up being a little bit bitey🦈but at the end of the day that’s a fear response and something we can work on together over the next couple of months/ however long it takes to make him feel happy about coming again 🩷 After some blood sweat tears and an extra helping hand we managed to get him finished, he had a light sc******ng all over to just tidy him up, his paw pads carving out, his nails cut and a nice bath and blowdry too, he’s also going to come back next week and more frequently after that just to be in my salon and we’re going to work on some positive asociation and not nececerily doing much grooming wise but get him used to the sensations and being handled so we can nip the nips in the bud 🩷
It’s nothing that can’t be fixed and i’m happy we’re going to work on it together🩷

Handsome Ozzy before and after his handstrip and feet tidy the other week🫧🤍 (iv been really bad at posting recently sorry guys🫣) Ozzy is always a little prince and such a pleasure to have in my salon, he did a few little tippy tappy dances for me and loved showing off his paws at the end as you can see in one of the pictures , i even put the macarena on for him to dance to and he went for it!🩷
