🥇 28 DC and 1st place for Phil our pocket sized homebred today in the 100.

5th place for Bunny 90 Open.

Jack stepped up to Novice, he was a little shocked to be showjumping indoors but felt quite grown up around a decent CrossCountry track.

Last week a couple of the young horses took on BD Combined Training at Northallerton Equestrian Centre.

Moonie produced a 74% test and smart clear jumping round to win her class 🥇

Cole’s very first show and he managed a smart test for 71% to also win his class 🥇

Nice to have some of the younger horses out to Richmond Equestrian Centre for a jump yesterday.

Lovely to see the eventers enjoying some well earned downtime, but counting down the days until their shoes are back on!

With the event season over we turn our attention to dressage with some of the younger horses.

On Saturday 5 year old Guy did his very first show, gaining 69% for 3rd place.

Today 4 year old Windsor produced two smart tests at novice level for 72% (1st place) and 70% (2nd place).

So very lucky to be a tiny part of the journey for special horses like these, and will take pride watching them in the future!

*Looking for a new family*

Jerry - 15.2hh 4 year old cob type gelding

Jerry has made a super start to ridden life.
Would excel in many spheres; grassroots eventing, pony club all-rounder, hunting etc.
His basics are well established on the flat, showing ability to produce a smart and accurate test. He has 3 active, balanced paces.

He is popping around a course of fences in a nice rhythm, proving bold and willing.

He has cross-country schooled and is really enjoying his introduction to eventing life.

Jerry is ready to start heading out competing, having seen a few local unaffiliated shows and behaved impeccably.

Jerry hacks well alone and in company.

A pleasure to have around the yard.

Good to load, clip, recently shod in front for the first time.

A hectic weekend but a great one! Saturday we headed to Richmond Equestrian Centre with three of the rising 5 year olds, all jumping pleasing rounds. Sunday morning was spent at home with 4 year old Windsor competing BD and taking a win in the prelim. That’s him now qualified for regionals. Followed by Sunday afternoon at Epworth Equestrian Ltd with 4 horses jumping smart cross country rounds. #FedOnTopSpec
