Eagle is 16”1/2, Capper Cassonanova x Maybe Baby.

Eagle is a stunning dappled grey who is a big Labrador and loves kisses and cuddles.

He’s been Crosscountry schooling , hunting, showjumping,liberty, bridleless , been to the beach and on group rides with 8 horses and stayed calmed and relaxed.

I believe he’d make a great RC/PC all rounder. He would also be a perfect mother/daughter share

We are truly frantically paddling at the moment. Life seems to be hitting us at 110mph we huge obstacles we have to clamber over 😅 but..

My beautiful baby’s and mommas, I’m so proud of our breeding program. We have some beautiful youngstock just starting on the tracks and already taking wins! It’s so exciting to see our name on the results. 💖

Who remembers Olly who had emergency surgery this year and was very wonky and poorly? Well that’s him looking rather well and handsome on the left and his full brother Joey who’s a year older on the right!

Beautiful boys are going to be big I think and are both staying with me to produce and have my own homebreds to jump hopefully if they become as big as we think they will 🤞🏼

They are
offspring and we could not be happier with how they look and how they are in themselves and so excited to see where the next few years take us 🙌🏼

It is a great pleasure to introduce this charming filly foal who boasts not only an exceptional temperament, excellent conformation and powerful gaits, but also a dream pedigree with outstanding provenance in the direct motherline.

Grandmother Billy Amira, who is currently competing at BS with Amy Nemeth, is the full sister of three international performance horses, Billy Olive, successful under the saddle of Alex David Gill (GBR), Billy Galleon and Billy Argosy. In addition to her exceptional breeding career, Billy Amira's mother also competed nationally up to 1.45m with Emma and Andrew Saywell.

The family goes back to the great mare Aida Z whose line produced the 1.55m horse Lady Lulu 2 who competed with Margaux Rocket (FR). Also from that mare family we have the 1.60m horses Zidande P and Bono.

This mare family stands for consistency and performance through and through.

Sire Cadensky brings the important influence of the great stallions Cornet Obolensky and Carthago Z. He not only enjoyed a successful competition career with many placings up to 1.55m with Nisse Lüneburg (GER) but has also proven himself as a sire with internationally successful offspring including the prolific 1.60m horse Cool Cash who is still competing and the 1.55m horse Cava.

Look who is home 🧡🏡

Olly is very lucky to be alive, we still can’t believe he’s made it to this point. He’s not out of the woods yet, but the surgery went well, and the vets were very pleased with him. Strong little warrior, 7 days in hospital and now home to continue to heal 🩷

Momma Tina has dropped a ton of weight due to the stress, so I’m just glad they’re home and they can both get back on track.

Thanks Saywell Equestrian for providing such a fabulous stallion. This is the 2nd year we’ve used Echo and the proof is in the foals that he really does ooze class and that rubs off on his offspring 😍😍

Keeva Queen if you all remember has nearly died on me twice. Abit like me, traumatic few years and blood transfusions and lots of tears into her neck and face and hard work meant she came through by the skin of her teeth and when they said a lot of breeders wouldn’t put the work in, this made us even more determined to get her right.

Unfortunately for me, she just wasn’t big enough for me. So then came along the angel Isabelle Lilly Portway who made the agonising decision I had to make easier. Jsut look at the difference in her in these photos. 💜

I’m so beyond proud of us here at Steepleton Lodge Sports Horses JK Equestrian for the way we handled her trauma and the fact we did not let her down. It breaks my heart I don’t get to cuddle her everyday but it also makes my heart melt that she gets to have bestfiends with the Portway family 💜

Also proof is in the pudding, you feed the correct feed & supplements and put the work in, you get a happy, content, healthy horse.

Thank you Iz for making my horse happy and coming into both our lives 🩷🩷🩷

Many of you may remember this time last year the traumatic birth that Keeva had.
Lots of you followed her journey and recovery and prayed for you..

She lost alot of blood, Pinky my superstar gave her a blood transfusion, Chine House Equine Hospital were fantastic with the quick thinking and acting preparing her for surgery. They kept us informed the whole time.
They were amazed that we managed to keep her alive and save her..

As you can see from the bottom photos;
She is feeling and looking incredibly well for a horse that has nearly died multiple times. I will forever be in debt to Martine Diana who lent us Marmite as a foster mare and kept our little man alive who is also thriving! 😍

Just wanted to update everyone who followed the story that there was a happy ending. Keeva Queen is living her best life with my friend Isabelle Lilly Portway and I’m looking forward to seeing what they get up to this summer and little man is staying with us which I am so happy about because my other amazing friend Charlie Curtis has brought him! So he’s staying with us for now and I can’t wait to watch him grow up 🥰

The best job in the world is something you love doing.

Not having the best of times at the moment, life is testing me but to be able to just sit and enjoy some down time with foal kisses really does make me feel better. So, lots of foal spam incoming especially this weekend when Katie will meet Chris and they’ll go out in the paddocks together for the first time 🦄🥰

Please welcome our newest addition to JK Equestrian & Steepleton Lodge Sports Horses. We have a beautiful, big, filly by Cadensky. 12:20 Baby was out. 01:55 We accessed the milk bar 01:58 The placenta passed. Sacha is the most incredible mother, she just loves her baby’s. We have named our newest baby “Katie” so now we have a Chris & Kate after my mum & dad. We did jokingly call her Katie a few times and laughed, however it then just stuck. So now I’ll be calling “Chris, Kate come on it’s dinner time” and wondering if mum & dad will arrive or my foals 😂

For everybody asking, Keeva is home, happy & healthy. Considering 2 weeks ago we were unsure if she’d survive, I think it’s safe to say she’s looking good 😍😍

I am completely overwhelmed and mentally exhausted but she is home where she belongs and is now a very expensive field ornament. The vets cannot believe how she has survived this. Considering they were putting her to sleep Saturday AM. I genuinely cannot thank you all for the amazing support you’ve shown us and the well wishes our Queen has had. The next 7 days will be closely monitored we have to keep her quiet and settled so we’re not completely out of the woods yet but we’re a hell of a lot closer to a happy ending then we were 48 hours ago. 🙏🏻🤞🏼
