Well, today has been super emotional. Thank you so much to all of my lovely clients for all your kind words, cards and presents and most of all for your loyalty over the last 3 years. You have all been the BEST clients, I am very lucky and I am going to miss everyone so much. Apologies for the tears and prompt exits today 😭 please do keep in touch 🐾

Well, today has been a super emotional day, letting all my lovely clients know that I will no longer be dog walking from September. Thankyou all so much for your kind messages of support and love. It's been an absolute pleasure and I've loved every minute. For those that don't know I am returning to vet nursing and will be working at Vets4Pets Northampton.

Bit of admin:
- I will still be available for pet sitting and nurse appointments ongoing.
- All keys will be returned over the next month.
- I have some other dog walkers lined up if anyone needs any recommendations.

Thankyou all again for all your love and support over the last incredible 3 years 😊

I didn’t want to have to raise my prices and I have been holding off as long as possible but, after a lot of thought, I feel I’m left with no choice and I have tried to make the increase small 😔

From Monday 7th August my new prices will be as follows:

Solo walks: 30 minutes £12 or 1 hr £20

Group walks: 1 hour £14

Pop-in/nurse appointment prices will be remaining the same as they were increased not that long ago.

I hope that my loyal clients understand why I’ve had to make this difficult decision.

Although being a small business owner can have it’s stressful moments 🤯 (like this one!) I still can’t believe I get to do something I love every day and hope I will get to do so for many years to come🐾

It is starting to heat up, next week is looking to be in the mid/late 20’s.

Walks will be earlier where I can accommodate and may be cut short if ANY dogs in the group are struggling.

The more at risk breeds may be cancelled completely and changed to a drop in.

Should walks have to be cancelled completely. Drop-in's will be offered.

I will keep a close eye on the weather and plans made accordingly.

Now offering overnight pet sits (in clients own house). Availability will be limited for this as will need to work around my husbands nightshifts so will only be one or two nights at a time. Prices start from £40. Give me a shout if you fancy a night away and don't want to worry about the dogs 😀

After two years of study I have finally completed my level 3 diploma in canine behaviour with a merit 🤗 Certificate arrived today 🙂 I shall now be officially known as Laura Brander RVN BCCSDip.DogBhv

*Edit: should probably state this does not qualify me as a behaviourist, I did this purely to have a better understanding of the dogs I work with 🙂

This idiot lives to see another day! It's been a tough two weeks not knowing if we were going to have to say goodbye but an awesome vet that I used to work with has given us a plan of action that may keep him comfortable for a bit longer 🥰 reassessing in a few weeks so 🤞 he's nearly 15 so he won't live for ever, although someone needs to tell him that, he's got 9 lives like a cat this one!
