We wish Karen a Happy Retirement and a big thank you for spoiling our pets when they were boarding.

I want to wish all of my wonderful customers a Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year.
As you know after 8 wonderful years of looking after your furbabies I am closing Hop, Skip & Bunk! at the end of the year to fully retire. I want to thank everyone for entrusting me with your precious babies I have loved each and every one of them as if they were one of my own and whilst I am going to miss looking after them all so much I'm excited about our future plans. I will also still be keeping myself busy with my own gang and will be doing a bit more fostering. Please do all keep in touch with updates, and I'll always be here for advice ###

Bramble is one of our longer stay bunnies, she is such a beautiful, friendly bunny. She is yet to find her perfect match, but we have all our paws crossed that she doesn't have to wait much longer.

Bramble is neutered, fully vaccinated and being fostered in the Staffordshire area.

Can anyone give the lovely Vivian a new home

This is a very hard post to write but one of our own, Vivian, needs a new home 😭
Vivian is 8 years old and came to us as a 4 month old kitten with a broken tail as she had been thrown from a moving car, she had her tail removed then recuperated in her foster home over Christmas, by the time she was ready for a new home she then had chronic stomatitis and had to have all her teeth removed bar 4. By that point she was settled and happy so stayed.
Sadly over the years her relationship with the other cats has got worse and worse with her staying outside and vanishing for long periods to avoid them, we were hoping the move would re set the pecking order but sadly that hasn’t happened 💔

Vivian needs a new home where she is the only pet, she’s a lovely friendly and confident girl with her humans and loves sleeping on beds, she’s used to a busy home with teenage children but hasn’t ever met very young children. She would love a home where there is safe outside access (no very busy roads) as she’s always lived in a cul de sac. She does like to catch rodents and is very playful with toys in the house.
She’s spayed, chipped, fully vaccinated and minus her issues with other kitties she’s a perfect all rounder happy and sweet girl who adores humans.

UPDATE: very sadly the little bunny, who we named Chilly passed away 💔😭 I can’t explain how heartbroken & angry we are. Life is so unfair, she was a beautiful little bun who deserved so much more than the neglect she suffered

Today we’ve had this little stray brought in weighing just 600g they are too weak to hop 😭 how people can be so cruel I just don’t know 💔

Thank you to Jacqui for her help as this was truly a case of life & death for the little bunny 💔 she has been admitted to the vets

I do love christmas but sadly this also means lots of animals being purchased for presents.

If you are going to purchase a pet please do your research and give them a lifetime commitment.
