Ahh today is a sad day we say good bye to Bubu as he’s moving out of area, the first two photos are the very first when he was so tiny and the final 3 are from today. He’s definitely kept me on my toes and for a small guy he’s got lots of bravado, going to miss you Bu and thank you so much for my card and flowers and the paw print ❤️ Good luck Amy on your next chapter and you know where I am if you want a pooch reunion xx

Warning for all dog owners, today my daughters dog had to be put under anaesthetic for an exploratory operation of the paw, he had been limping for a few days and no matter how many times we looked we could not see anything, we had 3 vet visits, antibiotics, pain relief but the paw started swelling on top and it was decided to have it investigated as we didn’t want it to get worse and incur emergency prices at the weekend. After a few anxious hours the vet called and said they had found a grass seed it had travelled quite far up the paw, to say we were relieved was an understatement. This grass seed resulted in a £400 bill but what else can you do, you cannot leave these things as the just don’t go away, in fact the vet said if it travels it could be a CT scan on top. So please be vigilant and check paws after walks, Prince does not charge around or go on massive walks so the fact it happened to him was surprising. Hopefully there will be a easy recovery.

Now the holiday season is here, I have cat requests coming in. When I visit cats you can expect the normal cat feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaned, cat flap adjusting as necessary and of course lots of fuss and purrs from the cats. I also remove post from the letterbox, put the bins out when necessary and if it’s hot I have no issues with watering the garden under instruction. You also get regular photos and feedback so you have peace of mind.

11th March 2016 was the day I started my business I started with only one dog called Snoopy and today I received the heartbreaking news that he is no longer on this earth and joins his house buddy Mitzy over rainbow bridge.

Snoopy was what we call a challenge (I can hear you laughing Pete) he would often be rolled up in a duvet in his crate on a cold miserable day or a glorious day with no intention of getting up (he had the right idea) he used to get in such a tangled mess it was a feat to get him freed.
He then became a sofa surfer who ruled the roost and ate better than us humans, I think I recall toast and pate on the menu amongst other delights. He went through balls like no tomorrow and his human Pete would end of filling the holes with treats. Even if I got him out which was a rarity I would have to walk the opposite side of the road from other dogs but I really could see the soft and loving side of this loyal chap.
He enjoyed bathing in a small waterway in the village and would slip around on its floor, I would end up dragging him up the hill but a minute later he’d try and do a bully run on you and you’d have to move out of the way of those pretty quick leaving you in stitches of laughter.
Even after I was no longer needed I still kept in contact with Pete and Snoops and would comment on his grand stature and Pete would say he’s living his best life and that he did.
You were a great dog dad Pete and there’s sure going to be a void when I see you soon.
Rest in peace beautiful Snoops you will be missed ❤️
